- My thoughts (not review) on 2023 Indian Pursuit Dark Horse after renting one in San Diego. The folks at Indian Motorcycles of San Diego were fantastic!

I love my Pursuit. I was so impressed with it that I traded in my 2020 Red and Black HD Roadglide Limited for a 2022 Red and Black Pursuit Darkhorse. She runs faster and takes the So Cal canyons really well. I also got the lower Klockwerks windshield. It’s definitely better than the stock. Thanks for your thoughts on the bike.

I'm on the fence if I like this bike or not. I guess I'd have to see it in person. I do love the color, though. I'm glad to hear you got 200 miles her and stretched her legs. A great job with your first impressions impressions of the Pursuit. Great job, as always.

Love the Pursuit. I’m a Ultra Limited owner and I rented a Pursuit for 5 days when my Harley was down. I may leave Harley
I liked it but, I think I prefer the Chieftain. Not a fan of the Roadmaster but, a Chieftain with a tour pack would work!

G'day, just came across your channel. Great stuff. I like listening to honest reviews from people who own bikes that are different to what they are reviewing. You tend to get a better insight on the pros and cons, well done. You obviously a HD guy but can still appreciate the good aspects. I like most brands and can appreciate I bike that I would'nt want to buy. Thanks for the Video.
Thanks! And thanks for stopping by! Yeah, I’m partial to HD but, like all bikes. I’m not loyal to one brand. Indian is making a solid motorcycle and you get a lot for the $$. Thanks again!

Great review! I'm not a fan of the looks but there's no denying the performance. I haven't ridden one yet but would like to at some point. I've ridden the Roadmaster and really liked it!
I was about to pull the trigger in on the Roadmaster. Maybe next time.
Boot levers on the lowers is an awesome feature! I've watch Tommy G from behind opening and closing his and it makes me nervous...
That is my FAVORITE feature on the bike!

Enjoyed the review, great job. I've had countless Harley's and ditched them for a BMW about 5 years ago. Recently looked at some reviews for new Harley's and can't tell a 2023 from a 2015. I know they made some changes, but they still look the same and the HP is still under 100. Got tired of dumping thousands into them and still having weak horse power. Not to mention how archaic Harley's are. I saw the CVO's and thought hey Harley, welcome to 2019...
Yeah, HD is a cult following. There is no doubt there are better bikes out there. IDK, I just love my HD. One day and may just ship.
Hi. I''m italian girl. My husband and I have got a Triumph Rocket R 2023. We love It!
But 1 mouth ago we saw Indian Pursuit on video and we're very interesting about It. So next week we've reserved a test ride. If it's positive I think buy It.
I only a doubt: the lack of reverse. What do you think about It? Thanks for video.
I have never ridden a bike with reverse so to me it’s not a problem. I was able to move the bike pretty easily. I think there are aftermarket companies that sell electric reverse gear kits.

Yeah this would have been a contender if it came out the year Ii bought my Road Glide Limited. Of coarse it came out a year later. LOL. Nice video Sean 👍

They do make aftermarket shields.
Ik LRS makes them. I haven't seen a Pursuit in Person but not much different than the Challenger.
Yeah, it’s pretty much the same but, a nice dresser with the lowers and tour pack. Very impressive bike!

So you rode them all what engine platform do you like better? The PowerPlus or Thunderstroke 116?
That’s a good question Nick. I’ll have to lean towards the 116. However, I like the sound and look of the Power Plus.
@@Ucmpigs I agree man I haven’t rode either , but its just something about the 116 I really like.
The PowerPlus looks like a fantastic motor and from what I read they base a lot of its styling from the Scouts motor in some ways.
Well I thought it was Deep Water Blue. Shows what I know. The GPS works better than the CarPlay to me. Infotainment works great! I almost wiped out my Ultra closing the vents! Agree about the saddlebags. They are technically a tad bigger than the HD but not enough to notice. Sport mode is no joke! The OEM seats do suck. Good stuff buddy.

Im riding a Victory Vision these days (mostly) I very much dig my electric windshield. Very interested in the pursuit. I nearly bought the Yammy Venture continental tour. My wife wanted me to buy it on the spot. What a sweetheart.
Beautiful temple. Especially when the sun sets! Yeah man, the Pursuit is a awesome touring platform. She’s a keeper😂

When the pursuit came out last year, I ordered a red one and put a deposit down. After four months of waiting, I was told it would be another four months, so I canceled my order. As a result, I purchased a 2022 Road Glide ST and really enjoy the bike. Sometimes I wonder if the pursuit would have been a better purchase, but then I start to think about all the cons: lots of cheap plastic on the dash and panels, dealer network is few and far between, limited accessories in caparison to HD, resell values not s good, electrical gremlins, questionable reliability, cool factor not quite there yet in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, Indian is putting out some nice bikes, but they're not there just yet.

i like the chieftain/roadmaster platform a million times better! challenger is spanish for broken, so i'm told
Yeah…I almost pulled the trigger on the Roadmaster but, this one peaks a little more interest for the Tube if you know what I mean.

My spyder trunk opens that way also but it does not tilt that far forward onto the seat...
I wish they opened to the side like HD…that’s a smarter design
