    Wow they turned out so beautiful ! I find honeycomb fossils in Lake Michigan that look quite a bit different. Your honeycomb calcite is amazing ! Thanks for sharing😊

    Are you willing to share more specific directions as to where this can be found as l heard the mine shut down…?

      GPS: 40°25'22.7"N 110°47'44.1"W
      That is where the shop in Hanna, Utah is located. The last I heard (been a few years now) is that the mine is still open but was sold to new owners, but you can still buy rough from them. Hope this helps!

      May is pretty booked out (unfortunately not rockhounding), but I am doing a dig in a couple of weeks with the Facebook rock group named 'Utah Rock Collectors." You would be welcome to sign up through them and join May 11/12 in Cedar City, Utah. Regardless, good luck on your hounding here in Utah!
