YUV and HSV are color spaces, similar to RGB but using different values for the axes. For example HSV uses hue, saturation, and value (brightness) as the axes instead of red, green, and blue. Both YUV and HSV have an axis that represents light/dark (unlike RGB), so presumably the filters are converting each pixel to the respective color space and only displaying the brightness axis. YUV and HSV calculate colors differently, which is why the final image is a little different.
@TheNubing so *you decided to put together a tutorial to make the problem even more replicatable and ruin the experience furthermore for people who still play the game, you mean..? Truly the height of a TFtubers intelect. Yeah bro, you're helping Tf2 BIG TIME. What a joke.

net_fakelag does have a pretty niche use in practicing rocket jumping. When you boot up a jump map in a listen server, you have no ping, which makes rocket jumping significantly cleaner and changes timings for stuff like pogos and speedshots. If you're a player that has bad ping issues in real servers, it might be better to simulate how jumping will ACTUALLY feel with net_fakelag. A value of 30 or so is usually ideal for this.
July 18, 2024 - TF2 Team An update to Team Fortress 2 has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you restart Team Fortress 2. - "Fixed Workshop sv_cheats exploit" DAMN that was fast
The debate on how ethical it is to do a whole-ass tutorial on an exploit packing this much power aside, I gotta keep those "r_drawclipbrushes" and "vcollide_wireframe" commands in mind next time I'm playing offline with little better to do I do like stupid ghost ledges that have little to no practical use outside of looking like you're taunting in midair [one of my favorites being the jank pipes in RED's backyard in 2fort], so having an easier time hunting 'em down in some maps'd be nice Now, bringing that debate back into center frame, _Bro what the hell_
Regarding r_novis, the thing about multiplayer in Source games is that entities outside of your PVS are not just invisible, they literally do not exist on your client as the server does not transmit them to you (with some exceptions). This is presumably done to conserve network traffic as transmitting every single entity to every single player at all times would be very demanding.
I honestly think that allowing people to understand how to do this is extremely irresponsible and just flat our ruins the game for opposing teams if someone who watched your video uses these exploits.
some of these commands, like shading that tells you where you can build/walk can be kinda useful without this exploit, and without bugging other people. start a server (I usually go to the console and write map , like tr_walkway_rc2, but you can do it with the UI. Then in the console write sv_cheats 1, which you can do because you're the host. Now obviously all of the mentioned cheats can be used, but things that let you study the map are now available to use without doing it on a public server
well, off to NOT play for 2 months... Also you could already do black and white and a few other color filters with a noncheat command before, I just don't remember it exactly. lastly... oh do I wish those viewmodel location and bobbing commands weren't cheat-locked... bobbing minigun already feels so good with real world models on
You had absolutely zero reason to go in-depth on how to perform this exploit and make a whole public video about it. If you wanted to draw attention you could have just showcased what it can do, but the fact that you *GIVE STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS* on how to pull it off is inexcusable. Casual is in the first playable state its had in years. You shouldn't be announcing to the world how to horrifically destroy it again. This was beyond irresponsible of you. Actually, no, the fact that you even included a command sheet in the description makes this feel almost flat out malicious, even. You either didn't think ANY of this through or you're deliberately trying to rake in RUclips money.
Depth bias is more or less a graphical software concept that contributes to how depth is seen by the camera, removing it would likely increase the chance that anything that gets drawn first is drawn first on screen in disregard to the relative distance the object is from the camera and whatever is drawn last is drawn last (ergo on top) in disregard to relative distance from the camera. To simplify it even further, things in any game are drawn in an order that can be different from what you'd be able to see depending on how the game is built, like a wall could after things behind the wall thus would put the thing behind the wall on top of the wall, a depth bias is one of the things that tells the system to draw things properly where something behind a wall will always be behind the wall, without the depth bias. Basically without depth bias, something behind a wall could possibly be drawn after the wall and thus appear in front/on-top of the wall. This is part of why it looks so trippy, it reveals part of what we call GPU overdraw which you try to cut down on to optimize the usage of the GPU. Some games don't care about overdraw either and simply draw everything under them, I believe that TF2 does something in between not caring and caring about that, but regardless as you can see players are one of the things drawn last, and things further away are drawn after things closer creating an effect where you can see through close walls and objects.
It was fun doing this together, let's hope Valve patches it quickly. Here's my video, check it out if you want to see some funny clips :D

7:18 the administrator watching over the games
Yeah bro, tell people EXACLTLY how to do it. Yep, full tutorial this shit, post it to youtube too!
Are you serious.........
I already report this exploit 1 year ago and they didn't patch it so we decided to upload it
@TheNubing so *you decided to put together a tutorial to make the problem even more replicatable and ruin the experience furthermore for people who still play the game, you mean..?
Truly the height of a TFtubers intelect. Yeah bro, you're helping Tf2 BIG TIME.
What a joke.
@@TheNubing SO KNOW UR ADMITTING THAT U KNEW THEY WERENT GONNA PATCH IT SO U DECIDED TO UPLOAD A MONETIZED VIDEO ON IT?
@@lordofthehawks so if everybody will use it they fix it asap, cuz it will be reported like 10000000 times more
@@snax-e3t My point is A this creator is making monetary gain off of showing people how to cheat, my other arguement is THAT HE LITERALLY SAID IT WAS VAC PROOF THE REPORT WONT GO THROUGH.
sv_cheats 1 the return before GTA VI
net_fakelag does have a pretty niche use in practicing rocket jumping.
30? I'm always playing with *at least* 80 ping
Interesting insight
it also makes market garden bhops possible on a listen server
That was fast
Valve should ban your Steam account ngl. Such an irresponsible thing to do.
This ain't an exploit report, this is a literal full tutorial on how to do it, bro delete this video 💀
My favorite part of tf2 is “this is how this feature/command works… except for this randomly obscure example”
*shows people how to do this exploit*
"Don't abuse it"
Literally like giving the nuclear codes built in a red button to a toddler at this point
July 18, 2024 - TF2 Team
An update to Team Fortress 2 has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you restart Team Fortress 2.
- "Fixed Workshop sv_cheats exploit"
DAMN that was fast
i just did it in casual, so fun, stacked 60 kills
4:46 bad acid trip
The debate on how ethical it is to do a whole-ass tutorial on an exploit packing this much power aside, I gotta keep those "r_drawclipbrushes" and "vcollide_wireframe" commands in mind next time I'm playing offline with little better to do
I do like stupid ghost ledges that have little to no practical use outside of looking like you're taunting in midair [one of my favorites being the jank pipes in RED's backyard in 2fort], so having an easier time hunting 'em down in some maps'd be nice
Now, bringing that debate back into center frame,
_Bro what the hell_
They really Fixed it after 1 day of video you published .
1 day later and its now gone, rare valve w
12:09 this actually killed me omg
well, off to NOT play for 2 months...
For anyone wondering this was patched on July 18th. One day after it came out.
tf_viewmodel_offset shouldn't be a cheat command in the first place
