I was surprised that there were no clearing checks before each exercise. As a long time instructor, I would expect a HASELL check. Height, sufficient for the manoeuvre and to recover by 3000 ft agl; Airframe, properly configured and cleared for the manoeuvre; Security, no loose articles, straps secure; location, clear of CAS and clouds, and most important, of all, Lookout.

Omg, what a training disaster this guy is. The instructor needs to get a handle on it now!
“Let’s go” Says the student as he begins to taxi without clearing the left and right side.
Instructor should have put on the brakes and gotten a handle on this guy.
    No brake check.
Totally botched ignition check. Come on guys, there are 2 ignition checks for each engine!
L&R for the LEFT engine AND L&R for the RIGHT engine. The right engine never got checked. And the instructor is pointing at the RIGHT engine while a check is done on the Left engine !! And the instructor never realizes what the student is doing. And the student doesn’t understand what he’s checking or how to do it.
