What a moving, universal tribute to father-daughter relationships. The use of Adama's line at the end about Starbuck being his daughter got to me. I only wish the Buffy-Giles relationship was a part of this video.

This is really beautiful. I liked that you showed it wasn't all happy-go-lucky, but at times sad and damaging. I find that relationship interesting as well in media. I don't think it's always represented as strongly as a mother/daughter dynamic. I appreciated this! I always have a appreciation too for ALIAS, so yay for Sydney/Jack.

His words to her at the end always make me smile. To me they've always in a way mirrored my relationship with my own father.

Sometimes I wish my dad wasn’t my dad...or that he was truly gone so that I wouldn’t be grieving for someone who’s roaming and living freely in this world. but that 7 year old child in me, that went through so much trauma from him...still cares and loves him...I still expect him to change when he’s much more older and realizes I’m still here crying and begging for his affection...
But he told me that my trauma wasn’t real. That he never “abused” me and that I had no proof of it...and always telling me of how proud and happy he is of living his “new life” with his two kids...I love them so much but I can’t help but cry for him. Just wanting him to see me as his daughter and not my “mothers daughter” he treats me like a stranger...and it breaks my heart 💔💔

I love you and I’m proud of you. I know I only get to see you occasionally and I know you beat yourself up about that. But I understand. Don’t get me wrong I miss you everyday, but I’m proud of you for standing up for what you believe in. I’m proud of you for standing up for the people that couldn’t stand up for themselves. As a kid my father couldn't work because of a work injury so my mom had to work a lot and he stayed at home and cared for me. I have wonderful memories to this time. My father did everything to make my days adventurous and fun, and understood me. He is a very strict man with strong principles but he loves me unconditionally. We have a strong bond (both of my parents) and even though I'm midtwenty I still kiss them in public or hold their hands. This video touched me on a very personal level! It's so wonderfully done! Would have loved to see Veronica mars and stoker in there, but it's still phenomenal! Would love to see a mother/daughter, mother/son or father/son video of yours 😍 keep up this unique style of editing

He left me at a young age, it's his fault. Too bad he doesn't get to see me graduate my grades, or me taking care of my baby brother or my soon wedding or my children in future. That's his fault that he left.
He left a legend behind, and he doesn't know that.
