For anyone starting this now: awakener orbs are 4.5d each. imprint is 1.4d. So you are looking at 6d per pull JUST to try the 1/3 annul. That is before you get to the 1/28 reforge influence, which also costs 2d suffix cant be change + 1-2d in horticraft mats. It adds up fast. Especially when you miss the 1/3 at the start. Also thank you for the great guide, super short and to the point. I managed to craft mine on my third reforge influence which was super lucky.

Yes. Crafting it on a non splited base would be a waste of currency. Edit: make sure the base that you're buying doesn't have 2 influences. It should have either one or no influence.
@@Eqnotalent making of helical ring cost me literally around 300d and 5 days. Was it worth it? Definitely not. I lost a lot on mists.A lot of time wasted and I'll prolly craft a new one in future. But at the same time I can sell that ring more than 300d same goes for simplex. On crafts if you do it right you almost never lose money. But ye I agree it's expensive.
As long as simplex BASE has ilvl of 80+ you are good to go. Like i said many times DO NOT buy the double influenced simplex. Only single influence or no influence.
And honestly i would suggest buying 80-82 ilvl base. Since you want to have few mods on your simplex when crafting as long as your desired mods are on that level range. More mods equals more weight of the other mods added to the mod pool that you can hit which is bad in our case.

Is this better than flat attribute/str simplex amulet? Also what option do you have with a split base instead of a clean base.

use cheapest elderslayer orb on it then reforge till shaper
now lock and reflecting mist it for a couple mirrors
