Glitch can also appear when a room didn’t load properly. It is a fail-safe to allow your computer to load the room faster.

The only reason why is because if a room generation failure happens, or if a room overlaps, glitch comes out and teleports you to the next room, so that you can play the game properly.

After browsing the internet on this topic, I am feeling more convinced and am starting to build a prediction. This is the 3rd video I have seen so far where Glitch was encountered in single player mode, and where it acted as a failsafe. Each time in these videos, Glitch only acted on door 49.

Room 49 and room 50 always load together since it's always the same. Room 50 is a big room, so it takes longer to load. Low-end computer or mobile takes more time to load rooms, so Glitch appears more often at those doors for room 50 to load.

I was playing in duo and we coincidentally also got Glitch at room 49. We both entered at the same time so I'll assume it was a failsafe too.
