if I was good enough with round shapes, I think I d try for a roof to close it. same for the turrets, it always bothered me that they were open. with lego, I always made sure I could open the top of the buildings to see the interiors. it s a sure thing I d fix the mistake the original did, and allow it to rotate, the comics showed a scene where it does, they must ve cut costs by removing this feature. if you look carefully, some vehicles miss components in final form. ex ; the hiss has slots underneath the driver s cabin, it was for guns for sure. it s a perfect emplacement for that. no other example comes to mind now, but I remember that it occurred on other ones. just empty slots where Hasbro planned to put things. maybe it was other reasons as well, but cost comes to mind first. good show bro.

My Terror Drome sits on a lazy Susan so it does rotate. My Mega H.I.S.S has a gatlgun under the cock pit right where you are talking about
