Because we have the greatest founding documents in human history, second only to the establishment of Nationsl Israel, we are held to such a higher standard than native Africans or other nations and empires who practiced slavery for centuries before America. In that sense, we bear greater guilt than others. Slavery in America was most certainly not more inhumane and cruel than that which was practiced by Rome China Islam and native African tribes and empires.
This is where the sham of the 1619 project lies along with the leftist liars, which produce this distortion deliberately for personal and political gain.

Caucasians always get upset when other people give another narrative of amerikkka and exposes bullshit or lies told about the country . They still teach this Columbus discovered amerikkka nonsense that is a lie . They still teach this amerikkka was founded on freedom bs , ignoring slavery and the natives were already free until they were enslaved on reservations. Caucasians want to dissect the 1619 Project by not dissect the bullshit taught in schools. Again if the country was founded on freedom , liberty etc. every enslaved person should have been freed and slavery immediately banned. Also the pledge of allegiance - with liberty and justice for all , any black person or indigenous person who says that is a damn fool . We are still fighting that battle
