Great video Haley. I love it. Keep it up. Not that you didn't have my respect before but this is just great and our talk this morning had me in awe. Knowing we have something in common now. Not everyday a women is into fishing as much as you. Hope to learn from you

I believe Tough winters drive the passion on warm days with tons of fish. Great video and editing.

Thank you very much!! And well said - the longer you go through tough conditions or dry spells, the sweeter that next fish is.

I’m an avid winter camper….I can feel this video! Except for the making your own flies part, being out on a river bank, in the Uintas in January, 4pm, no food because I haven’t caught it yet, and ready to snap my rod over my knee is a familiar thing.

Well said! At times it can be frustrating for sure but the reward also feels a little sweeter when you've had to work harder for it.

YUP! That first fish wasn't particularly large or beautiful but it was definitely the most gratifying catch!

You’re a bit of a poet I think. Funny how one trip without a fish makes us all wonder if we actually know anything about fly fishing. Just keep in mind “A trout is a moment of beauty known only to those who seek it.” - Arnold Gingrich

Funny how fly fishing can turn into a mind game, huh? Haha. And what a beautiful quote. Thank you!

@@HaleontheHunt I'm starting to try some euro nymphing as well so I'd love to see a video of how you're getting on with it. I'll keep fishing as long as the fish keep swimming! Take care.

just a note..please do not remove any fish when the temps are around or below freezing.. the gills will freeze and kill the fish.. painfully
