This has been one of the most helpful videos I’ve seen. I would love to see you do more videos like this where you discuss strategy, tactics, map positions, flaming, etc. vs. just reviewing lots of tanks and showing game replays. Those are good as well, but theses types of videos are really helpful. I new about a couple of these spots but the-ostensibly on deadrail and a Castillo were new to me. I obviously knew about going up to castle on Castillo, but i wasn’t aware of that exact position in the back side with hat little ridge that provides hard cover. I usually go up into the center of the buildings but it’s too easy to get spotted and wrecked from heavies over at C if you aren’t really careful. Can you do another video like this one but highlight some of the bets spotting positions on the maps you didn’t highlight. Also would love to see you do a video on flanking. When to flank when not to flank. What factors going into your decision?
I 100% agree with the last spot it's great I learned it from bushka and have used it since it's good, not just for spotting but for using gun depression keeping pressure on the enemy's and for holding the map it's a shame with the new game mode effecting normal mode I did 4.1k damage in lycan on normal mode on that spot on canyon I used the Lycans armour and gun depression and dominated the map sadly i got rushed and died and our last player was a noob and we could have easily one but that's Blitz LOL.
I'd love a guide for light tanks when you get put on Himmelsdorf and that chinese city one. I have a great time driving lights but just don't know what to do on those two maps in particular
on the chinese city map, if u go medium side, u use the terrain and play like u usually would, if u go heavy side, u play it carefully, wait till they shot, then pull out, shoot them, and immediately hide again if the enemies are split up, flank them by going through base cap b, and try to outmaneuver isolated tanks im not sure about himmelsdorf as i also struggle in this map when playing light tanks
Tier 5 - T1 Heavy Tier 6 - IS (M6 is good one too but IS is better) Tier 7 - Tiger 1 Tier 8 - VK 100.01 (Tiger 2 is much stronger tank and has much more useful armor but VK 100.01 have better armor, T28 Proto is actually pretty good good too) Tier 9 - Maus-chan (E75 is better choice but Maus-chan has better armor) Tier 10 - Maus (E100's 640 Alpha gun much better option but Maus is most armored tank in the game)
I have a few sneaky spots that not many use in light tanks on some maps for surprise damage. That should be a video too! Vary powerful spots for damage.
I always tell meds to spot middle on canyon so that I can get an idea of where the enemy is going but most of em play "follow the heavies" and get rekt by the tds in the back.
These positions are all known by us already, they are all classical spotting positions. You should make some videos series about top 5 spotting positions in every map of the game. I believe every map has at least 5 spotting positions and many players don't realize which will be absolutely more helpful.
additional spotting position . the silo in falls creek has a good spotting position and the incline near the cap of rockfield can spot heavies goin in c cap which is vital on how to approach the match
The third spot are absolutely very risky in the low tier... Because enemy will just rushing on you and sometimes your team can't help you because they're just focus on their own target.
Meady, y r u giving away my spot at fort despair? 😭😭😭 Nice video as always btw Edit: e5 and cent 7/1 on that spot in canyon is very very nice. Basically any tank that’s abit fast, have gun depression and armor on the turret
Agree with 90% of the video and the spotting places. But - I drive a LOT of td`s - and i tell you, these 5 spots is not the only preaimed spots.. there is more than 10 on each map for me, from tier 5-10. And every preaimed spot i do use when i drive lights, mediums and heavy tanks. It`s mapawareness i tell you. Read the enemy setup at start, and mix it with the map your on - then you know where to find the enemy and witch spot you need to go to, to keep being unspotted.
Goo camo light tank ELC Type 64 Type 62 RU-251 BC BatChat Good View Range tank (God teir view Range) Chi-Nu Chi-To Type 64 (299m view range) Chi-Ri (301m view range) Dracula STA-1 (300m view range) Type 61 (290m view range) STB-1 (300m view range) I mean if you are the scouts players... I hope this may be helpful to you.... Make sure lads. As a Scout player, Never fire your gun if enemy is getting closer.... Keep them spotted and let the team shoot for you... and trust me... you have quite a high chance to get an ACE as well... as well as Scout medal.... Oh yeah funny story, I got a Scout Medal as T95 for some weird reason.... and there is one Jaged Tiger tried to shoot at me... he damaged me once... and I ammoracked.... him... I apologized to him.... (I mean seriously.... ammorack a person who is full HP is kindda feels bad ya know... cuz you can feel how much bullshit in his face....)
This is how lights should play and don't camp, as you usually say, that you've got no problem if they do dmg, but I don't agree, they should play tds then and be more effective.
At 8:31 I’m pretty sure you actually can pen the side, underneath the spaced armor it is grey, so I think it’s just a visual effect of the spaced armor to make people think they can’t pen. Correct me if I’m wrong
Scouting is the most powerful weapon in the game. As if enemy spotted atleast our team knows where enemy position is. So LTs dont be a TD and spot things for your team....
Blitz doesn't reward spotting enough IMO. The map size is somewhat small compared to the view ranges of the tanks that drive on them. Its also notable that the "view range disparity" between classes isn't very large either, meaning all tank classes (not just lights and meds unlike PC) can spot their own targets with a reasonable degree of success. Add to that there being little ingame incentive for prioritizing scouting over firing your gun and doing damage for yourself and you have a situation where tanks that have mediocre guns and armor but passable speed and camouflage (so most lights) get outclassed by slightly bigger and slower tanks with bigger/better guns and (usually) better armor (so most mediums and/or fast heavies) that can do 80-90% of a LTs spotting while having 120-130% of their combat capacity. I may be more than a bit biased in my reasoning because I love driving lights more than anything else, (to the point where I treat my favorite tank the E25, like a turret-less LT), but it'd be nice if WG went through and slightly buffed LT spotting capacity while slightly nerfing the spoting capacity of MTs and HTs while more heavily nerfing the spotting abilites of TDs. No major changes of course but enough so that a Tiger II can't sit in the middle of canyon and spot a LE.Kpz M41-90 from half way across the map in a 1v1 scenario. (This actually did happen to me once and I hadn't even fired my gun lol. Tbh I was more shocked that either A] the Tiger II has a falcon for a comander, or B] Le.Kpz camo is really that bad, than anything.)
Don’t play it like a super heavy, I play it as a support vehicle. The weaker frontal hull armor make it easy to pen so just hide your hull, play it as a support vehicle it should do just fine. (It can also get away with being a flanker) Tiger P is a much better brawler too
Off topic but I love the sound of the recording. You're voice sounds different, and I like it. It's so crisp. Like I got distracted from the video. What changed?
The spot in the middle on Canyon is a bad place to go now, All the noobs go too far up. I'd much rather now be sitting back and picking off the people that go too far.
light tanks are fucking annoying to have on your team anyway. glory hogs imo. they do next to nothing, they camp in their spotting positions and with their shit gun and quick reload, they wait for others to do the work, and then take that last spec of damage for the kill. that's a report from me, inactivity in battle. if its not kill stealing, it's running around far away from their team, going against the teams plan, meeting a full team of tanks, then asking for help and complaining when they die on the other side of the map. I think light tanks should have a 70% WR restriction. save so much trouble that way.
All tank u playing at the video was cheated first the Type 62 dragon is OP over power spot tank..... stop with your best spot place try spot with normal tank

PurityPanther Gamer you should know your enemy cause if they are 40% noobs like most of them then they are not going to spot

I like how I use all these positions already😂
It's very common spots. Only nubs didn't know it. :v

There is a nice position on vineyards near the cap where you can spot every heavy tank going to the city
I'd love a guide for light tanks when you get put on Himmelsdorf and that chinese city one. I have a great time driving lights but just don't know what to do on those two maps in particular

Great, now we will be having 14 tanks all rushing these spots every game. Hahahaa.
They are good...if enemy plays by your rules and submits to your advantages.
I feel like the middle bridge 0n Vineyards, and the middle of rock field deserve to be honorable mentions
Do most armored tanks in each tier from tier 5 to tier 10, please?
We all should know what the most armor tank in 8-10 is
But I think that a pretty good video idea
@@a_random_person5651 i think for tier 8... It would be the vk100.00 or vk168.01
MAUS IN THE HAUS
Tier 5 - T1 Heavy
Tier 6 - IS (M6 is good one too but IS is better)
Tier 7 - Tiger 1

Vid: Top spots where we should spot the enemy as a LT
.
Me as an intellectual: Spot where we should pre aim our huge TD guns at.
I always tell meds to spot middle on canyon so that I can get an idea of where the enemy is going but most of em play "follow the heavies" and get rekt by the tds in the back.

Holy crap!!! Good mic! Keep this please.
additional spotting position . the silo in falls creek has a good spotting position and the incline near the cap of rockfield can spot heavies goin in c cap which is vital on how to approach the match
In mayan ruins the hill between B and C is also great, you spot heavies and meds
Encounter cap on vineyards and the middle of canals are really good spotting positions too
