Childhood trauma is something thats on another level. Being young and vulnerable but hvg the person who is supposed to protect you abuse you instead is crazy. Very hard to forgive even harder to forget.
This level of generational trauma is brutal. But as someone who has undergone similar treatment I’m glad she could say what she needed to. Much love from America
Even so, it ia based on a true story that happens every single day whether it be Korea, the USA, Canada, etc. The same sentiment remains, the man was abusive due to his addiction, which many of us suffer from.
An abuser, no matter what substance they are addicted to, should never hit or abuse his children. My father was an alcoholic and NEVER hit me or my sisters/mother. I understand it's different for everyone, but you should NEVER hit your children, there is no excuse.
Even as a reenactment, this shows the pain of being truly afraid of your father when you're supposed to love, feel loved, and trust in him as your protector. My father and I have our disputes, some are small and some VERY large, but I can't imagine being genuinely AFRAID of him. I feel so sad for anyone who's ever had to go through this situation. If you've been through anything like this and are reading this, my heart truly goes out to you. You never deserved that. Please never forget you don't deserve that pain. ❤️🩹
True but this is such harsh truth that is really a tough pill to digest to so many people who had to go through like this painful memories by having someone who cherish drugs or alcohol than their own children or wife or parents why people who loved them like their love ones gotta pay for their mistakes addictions bad wrong doings this makes me pretty mad cause is so unfair to the people who didn't choose to have such parents

If you are that kind-hearted and understanding then you forgive them cause I ain't doing it there's some things that are unforgiven you can't never be the same person after going so much pain and sorrow there's already a mental scar in our hearts and minds that can't be erased just by forgiving the damage is already done and that person mind and heart is already gone
@@kameliarose1998 thank you for asking am better after he left he was mentally and physically abusive but hes still my neighbour and causes trouble every some days

The shame is killing him that he can't even look her in the eye
I wonder if the "commanding officer" on his jacket means he was military?
I wonder if he was alcohol was a crutch due to military.
