Why do the wild ring neck doves in my garden look so terrible when they are wet? Butter’s head feathers are still in place whilst the wild doves’ heads are all spiked and you can only see the eyes and they love sitting in the ☔️
aweee! my Lil dove went from darling and lovable to schizophrenic and drops her feathers almost every other time I try to touch her! and I've raised her since she was a 4 day old squab. how can I get my dove to be less anxious and stop acting like she's being attacked anytime my hands go near her? she seems to think my hands are different animals than my face, lol. she will run from my hands, up my arm and tuck into the side of my neck right by my face for comfort. I don't get it and it's concerning because of her dropping her feathers like she'll do 😕

Trying to bathe my doves is a struggle haha. I have to hold them down, but they end up flying away every time.
Try not to force your birds to do anything, most birds HATE being forced to do something.
