Basically, it defined terms, this is a run down of what they do: 1) Aufbau Principle: says that electrons fill orbitals lowest available energy levels in an atom's ground state. 2): Pauli Exclusion Principle: No 2 electrons can have the same 4 quantum numbers. 3) Hund's Rule: Electrons fill orbitals one by one before filling energy levels in pairs. They fill level with opposite spins.
You've been of aid since I was in senior high school, man. Now that I'm in college, you're still helping me. God bless you, my good sir. Keep spreading that juicy knowledge :)
You just can't imagine how much your videos help me, your explanation is so coherent and easy to understand, you are really the best, thank you a lot. ❤
I've never looked up a question I've had for school that you don't have a video for. Very much appreciated man your videos are very clear and very helpful!
Friedrich Hund and Wolfgang Pauli were physicists. "Aufbau" is the German word for "build-up". It's therefore not "Aufbau's principle". It is the "Aufbau-principle".
So how is Ml used? The other 3 uniquely define an electron in your model. Actually no, they don't, there are 3 electrons in 2p with up spin. So Ml differentiates between them then?
Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for a short explanation of Aufbau's Principle, Hund's Rule and Pauli's Exclusion Principle and how it relates to Orbital Diagrams, Electron Configuration/Quantum Numbers in AP/General Chemistry. Each Rule/Principle increases my understanding of Energy Levels, Orbitals and Quantum Numbers in Modern Chemistry. This is an error free video/lecture on RUclips TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
Reading about Hund's Rule in Steins;Gate made me feel so confused. Thanks to your visuals and explanation I kinda got an idea of the principle though. Thanks a lot. :)
What I don’t understand is the overlapping, like so all the electrons in the 2p are always in the sphere of 2s, so like how does that work And like so is 2s the whole sphere or is it a large sphere with a small sphere cut out of inside it, like will electrons in the 2s enter the space of 1s? Like do I imagine a small tennis ball inside a basketball, and so will electrons in the 2s ever enter the tennis ball or are they gonna be just inside the volume of basketball but minus the small tennis ball inside??
Your are completely better than any biochemistry on this planet. You make feel ease I swear thanks alot. The best one is the one who is useful to the people specially on their needs. You motivated me towards my medical career mybe one day I will meet you. I love yur attitude and teaching
If can help much I could appreciate coz when someone does little for and you appreciate he or she may feel to help you more.yu can help me with links of biochemistry anatomy physiology and more thanks alot .willing positive on your kindness
This video makes so much sense, I'm completely baffled that my chemistry book decided to introduce these principles in the opposite order-?? This is so much more logical?

Thanks mate
thanks bruh
muchas gracias
To anyone studying this a good way to remember hunds rule is “single before you mingle”
The goat’s 5 minute video explained it better than my teacher talking for an hour and a half
Best explanation so far. Thank you 🙏
Hi i am twelve years and I didn't knw the Aufbau principle but while watching ur vedio I understand it✔
Thank you
Tysm hero you helped me alot through the years
So helpful 👍
who else is here because their chem teacher explains basically nothing?
thank you man very informative

thank you sir for this lesson
BRUH, I even corrected my teacher.
Wow,,if you can correct your tr,that means that this guy is on another level,,if your tr was good
@@rosette_renah Yeah but I corrected her before this video though, I came here to just recheck if my answer is correct. Still, good video.

do a face reveal
I doubt if he'll
Bh I'll love that😊
What to say, LRGEND🏂
You’re much better than my chemistry teacher. I am very thankful for your existence🙌🏼🙌🏼

I think you're speaking for all of us.
Man has single handedly saved me from the depths of chemistry hell
I think I might be stupid cause I still don’t get it 😭
You're not stupid, you just need more time.
Take a break and go through it again.
Calm down and don't get scared
Dat Boi thank you :0 you’re so sweet and supportive and I feel like this comment can apply to almost anything :) 💖
@@lynland2985 You're welcome man. Do you understand it now??

No worries. I was having hard time so u are not alone.

still helping you?

bro is in college learning abt this while im just in high school
With his Tone of voice you’d think he’s about to tell the story of a horrific mass murder
good one 😂🤣🤣
no matter what im studying, this guy never fails to make it 100x simpler.
thank you so much for this, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna pass chemistry just by watching your videos😂 you explain it so well!
The last minute is vastly more complicated than the start
So basically, all the principles come up to the same thing.
Chemistry is just a giant annoying cycle
@@datboi1861 very true
Ok, this is epic.

It's insane how his 5-minute video was worth a 1.30-hour lecture. 💯💯
Sooo true😂

Thanks from Turkey.

other that that, keep it up! this is very informative and under an hour to say the least, thank you!

Whenever I finally graduate. I'm gonna donate a lot of money to you before I pay off my student loans.
It seems like your chemistry text book determines how well you understand chemistry. Sad cus i don't understand
This was good thanks
Much appreciated. Very explanatory and comprehensive.
