  • First things first. This is not a rant or moan or negative reflection piece about modern life or Supermarkets! It is a very small reflective peice about Projections and has a positive outlook and intent, and simply uses the Supermarket as a backdrop, as most of us are familar with the Supermarket experience. I regard ALL interaction as POSITIVE, on the level of
Spirit, but of course, not at the physical denser level of it: Interactions can make us feel crap...I would like to refrain from offering a tone of advice as I am not a great advocate of it (See Broadening the Boundaries of Good & Bad for full personal views around that) and therefore I present my reflections by exposing my flaws, struggles, weakenesses. I see that this approach may offer me up to other's seeking to fix, advise or sometimes critisize: so be it; Offering oneself up, rather than claiming to know it all, would still be my preferred choice...

A small example of Projections of our old wounds and how we believe they are in the present and that we are being wounded. Playing out the original wounds perpetually, and seeking outwards to match the internal feeling with the external environment, when they are in fact our old wounds that we carry within. Starting with the feeling in the present, we can look inward, and make the original connections instead, allowing the transmutations to occur. We cannot give whilst we, the Ego projects, or rather, we can give in ego form, but it will be in a way that will want, or need (on some level) something in return. Divine consciousness gives and desires to give endlessly, joyously and with no conception of separation between self and other.

This is a wonderful story to reflect on and something I think every human can relate to and remember a similar experience of. So many opportunities to become aware, yeah? In awareness we have access to choice. Which, as you said, could be to shift what is happening (through our attention and intention). The main teacher at Nine Gates Mystery School shared this in relation to the experience of the human being and the work we were doing there, “the more awake, the more conscious. The more conscious the more kind. The more kind…… well, that’s the point!” Your story made me think of that. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you. It is a very simple little story, told with a Supermarket as a backdrop. I greatly appreciate you bringing to focus the spiritual element of the piece, which was my intention and thank you for your kindness and for sharing your comment. I will now look up Nine Gates. x btw you use the word OPPORTUNITIES which makes my heart sing too, because every single moment is a positive one, outside of the physical denser level of it all of course! You recognise it as not being a moan about modern life (which is totally valid, just not my focus or intention) but a chance to press pause and reflect on the miraculous and powerful energies of interaction between us all on a constant basis, which on that level, I find truly beautiful. That was my quiet intention and thank you for resonating with it xx

@@GertrudeTruman-FlintSpirit RUclips is so interesting and for whatever reason fed me your video out of the blue. I’m glad it did and I listened.
You are a gifted story teller of “simple” stories that clearly have deeper purpose and meaning within the (seemingly) “mundane”. Much like Life itself! ☺️
I’m glad I went ahead and shared my inner response to your story and I appreciate your reflection back. 🙏🏼

For @jahleajahlou8588 Here you go! I have found the poem which your comment reminded me of, and was written on my last night at the 'house of horrors'! thanks again for sharing your thoughts x
    The Innocence
I will fight you to the death and will notice even your breath,
As it rises and falls and how deep or how shallow it may be.
I will allow you no word outside of my command, for
Mine are sharper than a sword and faster than dreams.
I will notice them all, and nothing will ever get passed me.
    again.
Not one flicker from your eyes will escape me.
And no-where in my presence can you hide.
No matter the look or gesture you adopt to feign,
I will give you no option but what I choose to claim,
And what I claim of you is our respect, or nothing at all.
I advise you to listen acutely to what you hear,
For there will be no second chances.
You’ll be dust beneath my feet no matter the pleading from your eyes.
Not since I’ve dared to stand before you with my heart upon my chest,
And love upon my lips and my eyes as clear as a child’s.
If you fail to recognize the substance of what you see,
    Because it’s such a long time ago in your memory, you will not be forgiven;
Because when it sits upon my face, my lips, my eyes,
So powerfully and so clear, it could only ever be your denial,
That prevents you from recognizing who we are.
And so if you run from the innocence of you and I,
And turn us into something we are not, I’ll not let you deny
The opportunity for us to be the gentle child once more.
I’ll not let you commit such a brutal act and I will fight you
To the death, before ever I deny our innocence a moment longer.

Someone left a comment that I greatly appreciated; it included a remark that touched on the complexities of just saying hello to one-another, including the opposite sex. For some reason, the comment is not showing up on the public page, and so I just want to make sure it is acknowledged, albeit anonymously and with gratitude to the person who left the post. In 'Loosening the Boundaries of Self and Other' I made a similar remark: that I often end up excluding 50% of the population when out and about, for fear that if I say hello and smile at men, I'm afraid they'll think I'm after them! That's a judgement free statement by the way - just observing what a pickle I get myself into over such an 'apparently' tiny little thing...

We all suffer these wounds, don't we? More and more people, less and less space. Stranger after stranger! Encounter after encounter! Question after question! Whether to smile? Whether to speak? Whether to make eye contact? Am i invading their space, do they want to come into mine? Wound upon wound with no time to recover before the next one! And the more we communicate on devices, the less capable we seem to be of human interaction.

Tyranny of convenience. In times before you could only focus on the blisters under your feet and the smell of chicken sht. We got rid of those distractions, now we got time to sit grimacing in cars or perform on the stage of social etiquette.
perhaps we need more chicken sht
