As a Malaysian, Greenroom136 is my choice. From my first GR136 ( incidentally, a custom made messenger bag with my choice of design and wild bright yellow 1000D Cordura year 2011, to now currently, Slingshifter01 ). 5 bags in total, and the most loved one that's still unused from new, the only one custom Metrorunner Prime. Hehe. Tq Pat!
C Tactical is my favorite right now, I do have a greenroom and a gwa which I also like. I have 7-8 year old gorucks which are still going strong, but the new new gorucks have QC issues.
Hm that is difficult. Number of brands that I like and that do cool stuff. But I'll just list the ones I want/use the most. Azo (don't own yet but know which one I want) Packolab (love my samurai and the backpack seems nice as well. Although not what I'm looking for) Trakke (Have their bairn and bannoch and love the styling) Goruck (I have to add them simply because I have and use a number of their bags. The simplicity in use and visually, build quality, and warranty make them an easy choice for me to grab) Some mainstream bags are nice and I use them a lot. Osprey, mystery ranch, timbuk2, aer. But my last spot will go to Rehose because he made a backpack I still want badly but don't need.
Hmm my top 4 are: Greenroom136 (build and design ethos, tough and fun), Alpha One Niner (design refinement, just dialed in), Waterfield (laptop/tech brief kings, and I'm a briefcase man), and Tom Bihn (great material selection, an functional but offbeat design). Too difficult to choose a number 5.
My top 5 would be Porter Yoshida, Briefing (discovered by watching your video) , Defy, Dsptch and Hard Graft. The Harvest Label backpack looks amazing and the price is far more reasonable than Porter. Good choice!
Love your top 5, Klint. Mine are different though. In no particular order, my 5 (at the moment, anyway) are Defy, Alpaka, Vanquest, Nutsac and Able Carry. Hon mention for Maxpedition, too.
I used a basic greenroom junkmonkey for years since the it was introduced as my EDC. Great company only recently switched to a Defy bag because I needed a backpack and didn't like the greenroom backpacks.
The one with labels in the video (nexus from BDL) I've done a video on the larger version of the Nexus and tested it on international trip - but haven't tested the smaller version (Same bag, just different dimensions)
If this was an "Affiliate" channel, the list would look drastically different!
I love the grassroots aspect of this channel, and your genuine love for bags. Always come to this channel!
I wish you could review crumpler. They're one of my favorites. I think it would suit your taste because they have more fun colours.
I just got my first crumpler bag!
Love to see greenroom136 getting respect. They are one of my favorites for sure. Been waiting for a rainmaker restock for awhile now

The cyber metro runner?
@@ThePerfectBag hehe nope. one take, yes it looks like the normal Metrorunner Prime MCB, but it is very different hehe
Amazing
Metrorunner is an awesome bag!
@@OX71 it is. sadly it's too big for my EDC, henceforth it's kept safe until I need it for 2D/1N or 3D/2N motorcycle rides hehe.
Wow, bag taste really is such an individual thing. Your list is very unique, love it!
My top three are Greenroom136(metrorunner) 5.11(moab 6, rush messenger) and maxpedition(lunada and fleigerduffel)

I’m begging you- plleasseee use chapters on your videos!
But that's so much woooorrrrrkkkk! 🫢😬😬
But seriously, I’ll see if I can figure it out
Automatic chapters is already enabled……not sure why it’s not showing.
What are the top recommned backpack for daily use 14L - 16L wise?
Thought to beat a CT15. Evergoods smaller bags look good but I haven't tried yet.

Waterfield is top 10 for me

Hard Graft - wow! Nice!
you really own over 500 bags ?!?! respect
I do. Although to be fair - I wouldn't own this many if I didn't have this channel :)
Azo Equipment as a bonus pick :D. How many Azo bags do you have in total and what are they? I know of the Rabal and your patchwork one.
That's it - that's why I couldn't put them in my top 5 - I've only had the two. Packolab I've only had three...but it's all they have 😬
@@ThePerfectBag That's fair. Love your picks and can't wait for your BYC GR136 Quickdraw to come in.
I know!!!!!

Great companies!!!!

did you get a Bucktown?
Bellroy, Able Carry, Evergoods, remote equipment, and trakke
A great top 5!!!
My favorites are Porter, Dsptch, Evergoods, and bagjack.
Good list!!! Bag jack is a cool pick!
I don't have favorite bag makers, just love certain bags from certain brands
Boum 💥 (©️) My favorite for daily bag:
Dsptch, Rofmia, Defy
Boum 💥 again # my favorite for traveling & outdoor activities :
ULA,Goruck, Evergoods, Hitchhikers.
What about tropicfeel?
I actually have never owned one!
@ThePerfectBag Try it
Good choices in brands, those companies do cool things with bags...but cool things seem to come at the cost of weight. Heavy heavy bags
Agreed. Although the dyneema bags I showed are very light
Boom what's up Clint
What's up!
Yeah , harvest label is better than Potter...love it....
I concur.
Man! There is still labels on your bags 🤨
Quite a few that haven't seen testing or use yet!!!
The one with labels in the video (nexus from BDL) I've done a video on the larger version of the Nexus and tested it on international trip - but haven't tested the smaller version (Same bag, just different dimensions)
Alpaka, AER, and Tomtoc are my favourites… my pics are more boring than yours
You'll never be happy. Enjoy your bags.
I don't know. I'm pretty happy.
