- The beautiful Todd Lake is located in the Deschutes National Forest, roughly a 30-minute drive from Bend Oregon. The Todd Lake Loop Trail is labeled as easy at 1.7 miles round-trip and 78 feet of elevation gain. This is a very gorgeous hike that goes around the entire lake. I went early in the morning, and there was an amazing reflection on the lake that was to die for! This is a perfect beginner hike because it's easy enough for almost anyone.

Now there's a spectacular loop hike for sure! What a beauty of a day for reflections on the lake...how lucky was that!! Perfect!!

What a great place to hike, great views, plenty of parking and some great scenery as well. Loved the reflections in the lake and amazing colours in the trees, it sure does not get any better than that. That boardwalk was a life saver mind, I would not want to walk over that bog without it.
