Kiwirail in Action by Drone - 736 crosses G25

Despite all the negative publicity about Kiwirail in the wake of the ferry grounding debacle, tonnage is still moving, this was Saturday 29 June on the MNL (Main North Line) linking Christchurch with Picton and the North Island between Kaikoura and Kekerangu, in New Zealand.
Northbound 736 from Christchurch, and southbound G35 cross at Pines within minutes like a well oiled machine.

I didn’t recognize the Scenery so I presume it was around Kaikoura
