Hello from the States. Another enjoyable pub lunch video. The Fox looks like a quaint and cozy place to have nice, quiet lunch. The roasted chicken and hamburger looked very good. I think I would have tried the lamb with the spring greens and a Scotch egg. The flowers on the table were a nice touch. Were they real? Even the sun came out to brighten things up. Stay safe and be well.
Lovely video, thanks both. Food looks yummy. I could kill for that bakewell tart - always been a favourite of mine. Will be visiting the Fox after half term for sure! Thanks again for sharing ❤
Ah was the Red fox may many years ago, only a few pints were sold then, food, yeh, you could have some crisps! but as I remember, it is a bit off the beaten track?
Lovely looking pub and tasty food by the looks of things. My vote is for the Welsh way of saying it then its translated as Head of the lake. Was there maybe a lake there in ancient times?
Loved this video and we will be visiting the Fox. We love the videos with Shaun the counsel man. Now we can’t wait for the cruise on the Queen Mary. Are you coming to NYC on the Queen Mary? Very exciting this trip should be and we can’t wait to see it. ❤️
@flydriveexplore peter karrie played the Phantom in london at that time, so filled the restaurant with phantom memorabilia and called it the phantoms lair.nice place, bonkers idea!
@@abaillie40 Yes, now I remember him and his role is Phantom. Didn't know he had the pub, it did sound weird. Although we would have probably gone once for the experience.
Another great video. Thoroughly enjoyed watching. That food looked delicious (especially the tart).
Glad you enjoyed it. The food was really good.

Yes, the flowers were real. It was a nice lunch, we hadn't been there before but were recommended it.
I was looking up Penllyn on google maps and found that there is a Penllyn here in SE PA, just north of Philly. Learn something new today.

You can still see it as the Red Fox on Google street view.
Great video. Glad you enjoyed the food.
Thanks
Good to see your vlog back on terra firma.

Saving this one, we'll be in the area this July visiting family! -Eileen

Hi, see you both next week.
I used to work there back in the day when peter karrie bought it, he turned it into the phantoms lair, very odd !
The Phantoms Lair. What was that?
