Gotta be honest map looks great but vast majority aren’t gonna play it bc it’s not an arena map. Majority of people don’t like escort or zone control. (Before anyone says oh I like it etc that’s u I’m talking about the player base and people didn’t like it in COD, bored of these modes in other games etc) Only time most people play it is in ranked when they are forced to. The map a month is really stupid.
Really only 2 new maps in 5 months….people wonder why players are leaving again love the team and stuff but they gotta do something about content bc netcode ain’t gonna be fixed till fall 2025 at best. It’s only causing player to leave that will never come back yes some will but majority won’t
That's my thing. I don't know the numbers but I feel like WAY more people want to play TDM/Dom/Occupy compared to things like Escort
@@NerosCinema everyone I have asked in lobbies all said the same thing pretty much it was fun in overwatch and then in BO3 for like a month but they too big some are very one sided meaning players leave instantly if they are on like defense first. I really think they should cut sections of these maps out so they can also be area maps so like the starting point of meltdown is an area map. Now some might not really work and be ass but at least we have something.

I heard that the spider bot actually did get another nerf this patch btw, it just wasn't in the notes. Not only will the shock not happen so early, the timer was (allegedly, haven't played the game since the patch yet) increased to 35 seconds. And they already mentioned multiple times that they're working on adding a quick time event to remove the spider instead of having to shoot it off

big announcements its kind of a overstatement... this xdebrief was a missed oportunity.. basically a few ranked changes for this season rest for next season a a new map in a couple of days, thats about it... none of the actual important matter were adressed... no prestige,no netcode,anticheat,events,killcams,custom lobbies and im sure im forgetting something else. not to mention they missed the actual ranked problem right now wich is their point distribution in the lower ranks.. if they would just fix that most of the other issues would be solved...
I don’t think you understand how long it takes to work some of these things out. You make it sound like it’s just a flip of a switch to implement killcams and better net code. You don’t think they are working on that? They are, but it takes time. You have a fast food / TikTok way of looking at these issues. Very surface level…
They said they're constantly working on net code and hit reg so it's not going to be in the announcements. And they're working on ranked and kill cam etc. It's not going to happen all at once. Pretty sure they're not taking making us wait just cuz.

@@Remu-Man please don't do that. The vast majority of people are having freaking hit reg issues. For me every game I run into moments where I shoot someone and they take no damage at all but I still get a hitmarker. Just like the vast majority of people. Just because you have no issues doesn't mean no one else does.
I still enjoy and play the game, working on getting the M1911, MDR, MP5, M870, RPK-74, N44, and L115 to gold right now and for the most part enjoying the process. But man the netcode is seriously an issue my dude, its at *best* a 6/10, when 8/10 is really the bare minimum for a game like this

I do well in this game, rarely ever go negative. My ONLY problem is I only like 2 of the maps!

the only maps i dont like are attica heights and dumbo
dumbo has no flow at all its terrible and emporium is just too easy to spawn trap if you spawn inside its very hard to get out of the spawn .
club house has got to be the worst map not only in the game but what i have ever seen , you are trying to get across the map and getting pinged by a player and dealing with that you fall through a hole in the floor and your lost for a second or so wondering what happened and where you are and you die and the poor sound , you can hear everything but you dont know who it is or where they is or even if its players or wild horses.
i have noticed that if the map choices are dumbo / emporium everyone votes random and if club house comes up ppl leave the lobby , this happens with any of the 3 maps.

This is the exact problem I have with the maps. They launched with no new ones so if you played one of the many tests then you had already played on all of these. We are only getting one map per month with some being limited to specific modes, so if you don't play those modes then you essentially get no map for that month.
This is going to backfire and cause burnout so quick if it hasn't already especially when we can't even get a prestige mode.
And just like that, xdefiant devs shit the bed to help their game, no mention of netcode fixes, server stability fixes, mid air strafe glitch fix,and no update on optimization fixes when you game fps dips below 60 or lower, im not saying they are cooked but this starting to feel alot like what happened with R6 Seige , they started focusing on the comp/esport, and mircotransactions instead of fixing the major issues that effects the majority of their player base

I wouldn't say so. It was just the least bad out of them all. If you look at the patch notes to it had just about the least amount of changes really. Like for example the ammo buff it got was definitely needed (Although I think they could of gone higher tbh) and if you tried to move around it was only a little better than the M870 and AA12. They all needed buffs tbh. The Double Barrel just needed the least.
@@CmoIsDaNam3i i used it often. Wasn’t difficult to cook with it. Just have to play smart and take good shots. The one shot range is pretty good actually.

Love the intel suit nerf. The amount of times you might be right in the middle of the action trying to cap a flag or something and you see "revealed by intel suit" and your only option was either to stay and die or run away from the action to get out of its range, was ridiculous
The hit reg kills any chance this game has.
I was really curious how theyd nerf the intel suit while still allowing people to get the character for intel spot assists. This is a good solution!

There's no reconnect feature in cod ranked and that's been around for how long waiting a season is still faster than ranked would have been implemented in the latest cod
I didn't mind the intel suit spam for the reason that it balances out actual wall hacker cheaters in the game. So far I've maybe encountered 8 blatant hackers in the game, but if wall hackers get bad that intel suit needs to be buffed again. Essentially what I'm saying is everyone should have the hacks at that point.
Haven’t really played video games since quarentine. All my friends got on this game when bomb was announced (we used to only play snd). Almost 2 months later and they don’t even mention it in their debrief yesterday. Most of them have already quit, but yesterday was the nail in the coffin. Hopefully they get their shit together
I played a bunch when the game first came out, but I've since been holding off until they release SnD. That's the only reason I play cod anymore... Hope it drops next season

how have they not fixed the servers yet?? I've been away for some time, looking forward to try out xD again, but I hopped on, played 2 games and quit cuz they were just terrible. There are people on the enemy team that I kill almost as fast as I can pull the trigger and some that take like 20 hitmarkers to kill (same faction), and I also die instantly to some but am almost unkillable for others. I know it's difficult to get servers functioning perfectly but this mess is unplayable to me.
Yeah it’ll be interesting. I’m actually really interested to see how much more recoil does rapid fire give these guns. Because right now, it’s pretty universal you need that on the gun. It could really diversify the pool of attachments that may go on the gun. Maybe not, guess we’ll see
I was really hoping to hear any kind of update about the netcode. While it's a lot better than it was in the past few months, I'm still dying around corners and getting hit markers just before dying only to find out that I've done no damage to my opponent. It's really frustrating and I hope that they can find a fix for it soon.
I stopped playing right when they kicked me in the nuts with that camo lvl Increase. Lost motivation and then just never got back on

If they'd only add a hardcore mode they'd have a player for life in me. Tired of the SBMM/EOMM in COD but I struggle with the TTK of core game modes. Keeping a strong aim with arthritis is very difficult.
If they don't get rid of bunny hopping I will never play it again. Dark and darker until then. If you jump 2 times it should penalize you by blowing up your PC.

I'm not surprised with that slight intel suit nerf, good balance change.
Not really that big, but it’s something, think the hype has died down, the honey moon phase is over, waiting to see what they actually do to make the game last. As of right now it is fun, somewhat, but the lack of consistent hit register and bunny hopping everywhere got old since the beginning and it’s still there, hoping for an actual big update.
As someone who already has both double barrels maxed out, im glad I can now be even more of an absolute menace with them now.
1.Remove the spider bot ability. So annoying and ruining gameplay especially when a few enemy using them.
2. Fix Getting shot while I get behind walls.
Im hoping for a buff to the marksman rifles, currently playing with the highest health point faction and in maybe 9.99 out of 10 guns fights the most i can do is get people to 1 shot. The blitz shield is also completely useless in its current state, it cant kill any thing a people can shoot straight through it before you can even get a follow up hit for the kill. Theres also something weird about the fire drone, whenever anyone uses it i die, i dont even have to be in the fire, ill be several meters away and ill still die. Whenever i use it i just get a few hit markers at the absolute most
They seriously need 24/7 playlists.... played for 10 hours, and still haven't been able to play Clubhouse... LIberty 14 times... makes me mad
I’m currently using Shotguns only cuz I already max level each gun and thank god this update coming. Using shotguns for 2 days now & it’s sucks. Yes I still get 20-30kills but so many times I should’ve won a fight is crazy and they STILL NEED TO FIX THE BULLET REG/GHOST BULLETS

Just got my M870 to lvl 300 (accidently first weapon to get that high) and NOW they upgrade it? Looks like it might be very viable now. And the double barrel that was the absolute best shotgun in the game also being buffed! I like that. Or maybe I feat the M870 now is so good the double barrel loses some of its edge to really be the only viable shotgun.
And did they buff sawed off too? I had that one gold in no time! I absolutely LOVE that thing. Best secondary in the game bar none!
I really hope they never add melee weapons
I really feel like 1 new map per month isn't enough, especially if they are splitting them between arena and linear style maps. Going by that logic we will get 6 new maps for arena and 6 for linear per year.
Id love at the very least 2 maps per month 1 Arena and 1 linear or take a section of the linear maps and cut them off to create an arena style map from it.
Games great and they are trying but lack of content is hurting my enjoyment.
I have 300 hours in defiant not looking forward to the shotgun updates for sure. I don’t play meta guns outside of level mastery so that makes me happy. Didn’t know about the ACR or AK being lasers with rapid fire. Haven’t played with the AK yet (lvl 1) but my ACR always bounced upwards really hard. I think some peoples game worked as intended as others enjoyed playing with broken functions.

It’s not going to be a little bit better. It’s going to be ALOT better. Yeah shotguns needed a buff. But what they did is going to be completely overkill. Shotgun nerfs incoming mark my words.
Don’t play ranked so don’t really care about those changes. Shotguns did not need any buffs whatsoever but I guess they just had to do something for doing something sake. I will take a break until certain things are fixed or work a bit better than the issue presently.
Yeah there isn't much new content but I'm glad they're focusing on fixing the issues
I managed to get the shotguns to lvl 350 so far besides the sawed off one cause I just got it and I’ve already managed to level it up to 100 thanks to that last double xp event. But with these adjustments they’ve made to them will sure help me a little more to max out all of them so I won’t have to struggle with them for now at least

Man, Intel Suit nerfed again. It's interesting because as it currently stands, it was pretty balanced. The main issue is just how many people were spamming it but that's not the dev's fault. Stacking classes/abilities will always be somewhat cheesy when the game is designed to be played with a mix of all of them, but that's on the playerbase.
Unfortunately we're dealing with the Cod community. If there's something to be spammed, they'll spam it to no end. The moment the MP7 was considered one of the best weapons, that's all you saw until the next meta weapon was discussed.
As someone who has maxed out every shotgun (including the sawed off), the AA-12 needs a huge amount of love. I would argue that it’s the worst gun in the game.
Finally the mp7 only lobbys are gone!

With ranked…the scoring system is what’s flawed for me. I don’t see how it makes sense that I win MVP on a losing team and still lose 30 points….

honestly the spider bot would not be that bad if it was and ULT instead of a tactical like make it an ult it can only latch onto 1 person and that is balanced

Im still patiently waiting for health to be 100 for all. Cant balance a game with that being a thing. Easy to abuse for smg run and gunners. Easiest solution, make it 100. They're useful enough without it. Their ult needs more movement speed but, thats the only change outside of giving them 100hp. Phantoms-100hp. Needs to happen. More often than not, its phantoms as mvp. Cause blocking bullets, and having 20% extra hp, makes it if you're good. Its very hard to not get mvp.
I love the double barrel but their is no range on them which sux so I only use it on arena.

@@johhnyboy No you don't, faction challenges we're progressing but only in a match, now since the launch of S1 they're not progressing at all, I'll use an ability, and it'll go to 1/50 but when I use it again it's still at 1/50, and when the game finishes it reverts back 0/50.

If they want me to come back, they should arrange a 2v2mode and snd.

Im on PS5 and being free with no PS+ is also a big positive.
I dont have to buy anything,but while I was on 60 something tier of the battlepass I decided to buy the normal battlepass,why not,I play some almost every day.😊
So while I do like the game and have over 60 hours of playtime I struggle for good results.
Ive been MVP not even 10 times and even then when I did I wasnt dominating,it was either a handful of kills over the next person or I had less kills and won cause of OBJ score.
Now when I played CoD games,Im talking older CoDs,pre 2018.
OG MW 1 and 2 and 3,Black 1 and 2 on PS3 and CoD AW and CoD WW2 on ps4 I had tons of games where I was top,tons of games when I was at the bottom and a lot of inbetween.
But on XD Im doing very well if I finish 2nd or maybe 3rd on my team even if we lose the match.I guess Im mostly 4-6 on my team.3rd if I do well.
Am I so rusty and still out of practice or is the average player just so much more skilled now with movements and such?
I have tried multiple controller settings,game settings which made some difference at first over default but thats it.
So as I said while I do like the game and I know theres nothing wrong with having great and bad matches which is fine I struggle to actually get those good matches which does sap the fun out of it often.
Maybe I need CoDs OEMM/SBMM?

I'm not sure why, but in Cod I average 1.8 K/D at the higher SBMM lobbies. But in Xdefiant I dont bunnyhop all over the place and end up 1.0 K/D overall.
That is still my biggest complaint, it's kind of impossible to counter that tactic when the enemy can change direction midair at any moment. You can aim high while you know they are coming around a corner, and also expect them to do it and still lose gunfights by a wide margin.
That is really my only frustration with Xdefiant, I'm also generally way less accurate in closing out kills in this game than Cod, but really it feels weird that my K/D would be halved in another shooter, but ehh it's still a fun game.

First CoD game I played with advanced movement was Advanced Warfare (which was the first that had any if memory serves) and while I didnt like it at first it wasnt long before I was playing with the best of them, again, plenty of matches on top, plenty on bottom and a lot inbetween.
But after that game I was tired of any advanced movement mechanics so I welcomed CoD WW2 but didnt bother with IW, Black Ops 3 or 4,while I did briefly play MW2019 and Cold War I didnt like they removed classic prestige so Cold War was the last I bought, but only played it for season 0 then sold it.
So now even though we dont have advanced movement in current CoDs and XD we get bunny hoppers, and constant jump around corner hero players, guess thats a skill/type of player style I dunno, but its one that I tried but simply dont like.
I dunno, Ill give the Black Ops 6 beta a go and see how that feels, plus I like the fact its bringing classic prestige back.
Despite and SBMM or OEMM or other weird issues/mechanics the game may end up having Im interested in it simply cause of classic prestige.
But Im not completely giving up on XD just yet.
Ill keep at it for now.

I actually dominate on this game, been MVP over 20 times and and cod in usually top 3. It’s just the different play style this game has. My biggest thing was turning off zoom sensitivity speed( I think it’s called that) I turned it to 0 and it made the game so smooth
You are the reason sbmm is in cod, you need the protection and arent as good as you thought
I never thought I was great, and those good results I had were on the older CoDs, before SBMM was cranked up.

their problem with this update. no more changes to bunny hopping because no gun fights last 4 jumps. by killing the intel suit no going see even more 120hp phantoms.
Just started playing a couple days ago and I’m liking it so far
Only thing i want is the cloaking on echelon to be nerfed heavly or taken out just dumb to be aginst a whole team of echelon using cloaking and snipers
Playing objective is cool and all but you also need kills coz what’s the point hopping on OBJ for like 2 seconds every life
8:46 facts!!!! I’m crap at fps but man I love the obj and imma team player. The fact I have to grind that much more because I don’t have those high kill games is mean. When the weapon xp balancing happened my guns went from level 15-20 to level 60+ that’s obj xp lol
2:12 - I’d agree if snipers didn’t exist. Only games I’ve played that got snipers “right” are CS and Halo (I really don’t feel like explaining why) Snipers are shotguns with infinite range, which is stupid, because shotguns are “balanced” because of the limited range. you simply can’t a make a sniper balanced for all types of players and play styles. Dying to a sniper is never fun in a video game, even more less fun than dying to a shotgun.
man you should of said something about how they give stuff away for free the people had already bought in the store. without a voice like yours speaking up about it it will continue to happen
