All the money is in the marketing and packaging and PR sent to influencers. The polish probably has a dollar worth of pigment and flakes per bottle. This whole collection is sub par to me. Thanks for discussing. I probably won’t be buying anymore Mooncat honestly. There are better brands IMo. $15 for a flaky jelly polish is absurd.

The main stand out for me is Chemical X. I won't be getting the full collection even though I love flakies and PPG. I would like more saturated colors for some of them. The packaging is adorable and really hitting the nostalgia.
I do like mojojo polish with the green/black flakies but i agree a more saturated purple would be better. Forces of evil on the other hand is kind of boring for the character that they are trying to represent
You should try a glitter smoothing topcoat with stickers because that will hide the sides way better! My favorite is Glitter Grabber by Glisten & Glow because it works REALLY well and isn’t very expensive. Plus you can buy 2oz refill bottles!
1st of all thanks for the shoutout lol!!! 2nd i will never stop being PERSONALLY offended that Michelle discod THex before i even had a year to buy it & i had to spend twice the price to get it into my collection. But then they replace it with a limited edition shade??? They just want me to go into a full rage 😂 💚

I don't think any of the polishes are ugly, but i do wish some of the polishes were a bit more creative/accurate to the characters. The mojojo polish doesn't look like any shade of purple he wears, and the green flakies also aren't an accurate green. The green circle glitters in the bubbles polish are really cool though so if i pick any up it will be that one. Since they're not available at stockists though idk if i can justify the shipping or afford enough polishes for free shipping 😅

I am a sucker for flakies and jelly formulas… so I stood no chance against it… I don’t have any of those kind of nail polishes from mooncat though, and the “slightly textured finish” is kinda 😬 I will use my glitter grabber though. Forces of evil is my disappointment in this collection too. After pandemonium any red kinda seems meh lol.
pandemonium is just the perfect red for me too, dam :D I also enjoy holo taco's favourite sister but that's about it. No reds are as beautiful as those two.

i've seen @nicolelovesnails use those jelly polishes as a toppers, that looks so good! but i get it, i am also a bright polish prefering girlie

I have and love Shroomdom and Pandemonium... And I bought Forces of Evil anyway. It seemed more pink leaning so I totally justified it.
