- The time has finally come! I've built this car to beat a Hellcat, and I finally got that opportunity! I will try and list all of my mods below. Be sure to check out all the other videos I have from the time I bought the SRT4, to getting it to where it is today. I also have quite a few videos on a Hellcat Charger I used to own.

Current mods as of the release of this video 6/25/20:
Precision 5731 w/.63 AR on e85, AGP log manifold, 3" AGP O2 housing, 3 in. Needswings downpipe w/electric cutout, BC Stg 2 Cams, MPx TB, Hard Pipes, BFMIC, HKS BOV, Diablosport Intune 2, Hellcat fuel pump (Walbro 525) with custom canister 6 AN fuel lines to and from Boomba fuel rail, Kinetic fuel pump rewire, Hydromat fuel pickup, FIC 1200's, full polyurethane bushing kit, BC coilovers. ARP head studs with a stock bottom end. 245/45/15 M&H Racemaster Drag Radials on Rota Grids +20 offset, 5mm spacers with ARP extended studs up front. 245/45 Khumo Ecstas in the back. I'm probably missing something I'm sure but, those are the major things I can think of.

Put a smaller pulley on the supercharger on the hellcat headers straight pipe and a couple smaller things add a tune and you’re pushing about 1000 hp and some good tires and bey bey bey 💨
Just a SRT4 two weeks ago, sent it to the mechanics to get a whole fuel system upgrade, after market intercooler and few other things. Once everything is on going straight to get it dyno tunes and see what numbers it pulls on 93 and e85
Any updates on what it made on the dyno? Very interested! I have a lot done to my SRT-4 and haven't had a chance to dyno it yet.
Jordan Wieberg-Madaris I got it tuned and totally forgot to installed the aftermarket wastegate to hold more boost before the tune. Once I get re tuned I’ll let you know the really numbers.
Are you running stock turbo?

I love my SRT-4 Neon. I bought it 2-25-2003 it still looks great and is fast.

Man. I think people say that too often like Hellcats ain't shit. We don't mention the fact that its not from a dig. Everyone knows that is our weakness but I feel we should mention that instead of just saying it's easy to beat the Hellkitty. Lol I still love those bitches.
It definitely wasn't "not that hard" dumping over 7k to redo the entire fuel system, turbo, all supporting mods, suspension/tire setup, and a cam. Just to name a few. Then fine tuning over 20 times via email lol. It's like when I had a Miata and people said "just LS swap it" like it came out a gumball machine or something 😂
I love this thread. An OG owner of 03 (yes, I had to perform the LSD swap on my own bc dammit being an early adopter has its risks 🤦♂️), it takes me back to the heyday of “can’t beat my cammed 4.6” or “you’ll keep up til I hit vteeeeec brotha!” I roll a QV these days bc it’s the closest I can get to that ol’ 2400 ccs of dominating goodness. ❤️
@@quixilver09 also, props to the driver mod; that was one thing I never did... the upshifts were so damn smooth & barely let the auto catch back up. Mad props bro. 👊
So far as 160+ goes, I’ll only say this: the back end gets suuuuuuper light. Any use of brakes scared me. 🤷♂️

You need just over 450 HP in the SRT 4. Power to weight ratio vs hellcat

@@brandon15r lmao. Not when they are stock and I've got an open downpipe. If you actually look through my channel and see what I have done to my car, you'd know I'd be pulling way harder than that if it was a Scat Pack.
@@quixilver09 with the mods in your description you're probably only making around 400whp. And you probably have a screamer pipe off the waste gate, not an open down pipe and with that, it doesn't get super loud until you build boost. We should have heard the supercharger before that. With all that, the results of the race make sense if the Charger was a scat pack. Not knocking, that's still impressive

So the real question is, which one were you happier with overall? Haha
Well, the cars are 2 totally different beasts. If I had to choose 1 for daily, it's the Hellcat all day. A car I can beat on, modify, and not care TOO much about, then the SRT. I have a nice quick comfy sexy daily, and this SRT as a side toy, I'm happy.
