Detailed description: 0:00 - Game Load 0:13 - Glen Residences - Meadow Area Erik resumes in his house in the Meadow Area of the Glen Residences. He is currently a Level 49 MIN/Minstrel. He is in the midst of the Version 1 storylines "Megistris Story" and "Hollow's Encounter Story". Outside, Erik checks his mail and gets his Bazaar sales. When he is ready to go, he Zooms to the Megistris City - Entry destination, Pukuland. 1:56 - Megistris City Erik exits at D-8 to the Megistris Territory. 2:20 - Megistris Territory Erik talks to Peddler Kragi at D-4 (2:37). He takes the wagon to the Glitter Windmill Tower destination. 3:05 - Windmill Way Erik arrives just outside Glitter Windmill Tower in Windmill Way. He takes the exit at F-4 to Glitter Windmill Tower. 3:25 - Glitter Windmill Tower As Erik arrives at Glitter Windmill Tower, a cutscene with the strike force takes place. There is some debate concerning the royal ritual. Now, Erik must go up to the Ritual Hall on the Top Floor to help take out the monsters. After the scene, Erik gains control at H-3 on floor 1F of the Glitter Windmill Tower area (6:53). He will explore the area before heading up to the Ritual Hall on the Top Floor. I do enjoy the large town BGM track from Dragon Quest VIII. There is an Item Shop at G-4 near the entrance from Windmill Way. Erik picks up more Treasure Eye Land Bells. There is a Weapon Shop at G-2. Erik buys and equips a better Level 35 boomerang, the Swallowtail. At the church tent at F-2, Erik sets his Muse Coast - Ladis Island Pier Zoomstone to the Glitter Windmill Tower destination. There is also an Armor Shop at E-2. It sells a lot of Level 28 gear. Erik does not buy anything there. Erik goes down the well at C-2 to Palmio's Laboratory (11:10). Within, Erik finds a diary on a bookcase at G-5. There is a black chest here to remember for later. Erik takes the rope at B-2 out of Palmio's Laboratory (13:39). On the southwestern hill at A-7, a red chest contains an Evac-u-Bell (14:38). Erik takes a door at C-4 into the lower level of the tower. Within, he takes stairs at D-5 to floor 2F (17:02). In the back room of the Inn, a red chest at E-5 contains 240 gold (17:12). That is it for the red chests in this zone. Erik can find some Glitter Employee Guidelines and other notes on the walls on floor 1F. Erik visits the Depository at D-4 on floor 2F and deposits most of his gold in the Gold Bank. He visits the nearby Traveler's Bazaar to put a material up for sale. He also adjusts the price of an item. Poriri at E-4 has story info. At C-4 on 2F's deck, Erik talks to Renoch (24:56). After Erik has completed Quest 033: "Medal Owner's Remorse", Renoch gives him a Mini Medal for a current total of 46. He has found a total of 51 Mini Medals so far, of which he has spent 5. At E-4 inside 2F, Erik takes the elevator to the Top Floor of Inside Glitter Windmill. 25:52 - Inside Glitter Windmill - Top Floor Erik arrives at E-4 on the Top Floor 1 level of Inside Glitter Windmill. At D-3/E-3, he takes the door to the Ritual Hall. 28:43 - Inside Glitter Windmill - Ritual Hall As Erik enters the Ritual Hall, a cutscene with the strike team takes place. I figured something sinister was going on. After the scene, it is boss time against Hypnos and Thanatos (31:52). Thanatos has Feel the Burn at his disposal. I believe Hypnos can use Snooze, but he dies before he even gets a chance to use it. Erik and company quickly defeat Hypnos and Thanatos (32:50). Erik reaches MIN Level 50 and earns 4 skill points for a total of 137 available. Erik earns the accolade "Laughing King" for reaching the top of his class (Level 50) as a Minstrel. A cutscene takes place after the battle (33:16). This does not bode well. Now, Erik must report to King Puupoppan that he is suffering from classic evil minister syndrome.
