The way forward for India to is play a second fiddle to US or to Russia for next 20 yrs or so. Russia has not much to give India except continued supply of Russian armaments. And, why we need those other than to fight China. Well Russia can keep giving us oil too. But these two are not enough to take us to a developed country. Unless western countries come and invest into manufacturing in India hopes of taking the country high on developing are bleak. Even China’s today’s capacity to manufacture is all thanks to western investment. There is no point served by creating and remaining in self euphoria of grandiose. Election interference is too minute an issue to make a real change and needs no credit for the recent election results. BJP itself is totally responsible for the number. No point finding excuses and wasting time.
