I would say wait until both are out, see the reviews to see which one do you like the best, if they have QC issues and if they match the prototypes and pick from there. The thing is that there are a lot of SHMA drones that will pick it out no matter if there's a literal turd inside the box so there's a risk it might sell out before you can do that. Then again like it was said in the video, SHMA has history of presenting fantastic prototypes with amazing images only for the final product to come out with multiple issues like the eyes, teeth, lack of painting or the figure simply exploding right out of the box or parts falling off. So SHMA is a high risk investment (even more given their absurd prices) where there's a big chance you get a crappy figure filled with QC issues, but you might also get a good figure. One thing you'll get is great articulation (this is something SHMA excels), but it might happen the same as it did with FW Godzilla where getting it in certain poses will make the figure explode sending each leg, tail and torso their own way. Hiya on their side will be closer if not the same to what they show in the prototype, their QC and paint are amazing. However it has less articulation and they will do multiple re-releases with later versions coming with extras, different paint, translucent or even improvements in sculpt. So in Hiya you risk buying a version only for a few days or weeks later they announce a better version. Like their Ghidorah where you get the first version but then they release a new version with beams and better pain. If you like gambling, articulation and don't mind paying much more go for the SHMA, if you like to play safe, don't mind articulation, prefer something cheaper or you don't mind waiting, the Hiya. Also SHMA will very likely release a (even more expensive) beam version later down the line, although it might be the same beam as previous version but pink. hiya is so much more detailed with much better paint, but both figures are great. But me personally, I'm going for hiya not because of the price but it looks perfect.
I’m getting HIYA simply put. SH Monsterarts is a brand that is exorbitantly overpriced with terrible quality. Don’t get me wrong it’s painted wonderfully in the details, immaculate. It’s just that whenever even so much is such an SH Monsterarts figure it falls apart instantly. You can buy one for $200 and it might not even last you bend the tail, joint pops out, you articulate the shoulder, shoulder falls out, you open the mouth head falls off. And on top of that, they don’t even come with accessories anymore.
For the most part, that’s everyone’s concern and how false marketing can get a lot of people into buying a figure that turns out disappointing, right now there’s a lot of hype behind those figures.
SHMA's just looks too good to be true, but I'm still excited and I also hope both of these figures will be great, not just looks-wise, but when it comes down to quality control.
@@KP-ng5vcoh god here we go. The brush on the hiya one is just for promo, same for pre evolve : it was much more detailed because it has like sand brush on him but final product is plain grey
Nah, it's about quality of camera, if you look at some RUclipsrs videos, they have very good brushing, shma is the one with bad details quality, specially if you zoom in the arms, they look flat and lifeless, and the prototype in all shma Figures looks way better than the final products that looks like shit, I think you should rethink that
@@ArthurBr1000Oficial I will argue it's the same on Hiya (but it's much more cheaper), for pre-evolved godzilla it seem pretty clear it's not the same thing as photo promo

@@ArthurBr1000Oficial I mean for the pre evolve, it can't be light it's too différent and even if it is they need to stop taking photo of their product with lightning that change our perception of it But we can agree shma is worse with promo photo
While I don't like the price, I will have to stick with SHMA due to the articulation. I was planning on skipping evolved godzilla knowing Hiya's would be limited in articulation and SHMA has been getting lazy, but if this figure does come out close to these images, I may consider getting it. I am more inclined to pay a higher price for more articulation than a brick of a figure that has nice sculpt. Statues are for sculpt, action figures are meant to be posed.
Dang thanks for the video and advice I’m new to collecting Monsterarts but I heard of issues with the brand Hiya toys looks great for the price and Monsterarts looks great for evolve Godzilla
Here is the thing to me hiya always looks better in person than on their pictures for some reason. While monster arts is the complete opposite so we will se when someone has them.
Competition is great for all of us. Helping with so many brands and we’re in the time for adult action figure collecting. Now for this Godzilla figure battle. For me the sh monsterarts figure really looks amazing and the articulation looks great for what it is, but honestly the hiya toys looks almost as good and may have little less in the articulation but were it wins out on is the price. I could get 2 almost 3 hiya toys Godzilla for the price of 1 monsterarts Godzilla. And I admit the monsterarts does look better and all that but it’s just not that big a difference in my eyes. Everything I was going to say u hit on in this video. Monsterarts def needs to their quality control better and for the price they charge they def need special effects that go with the characters power set. Reason I get a Mafex over a hasbro figure. Yes they are same character but the paint, articulation, and all the extra accessories you get is why I would get that Mafex at over half the cost vs hasbro stuff. In a standard pose they both may look the same but that extra detail in paint and accessories as u say is game on why Mafex wins a lot. Monsterarts needs to step their game up with hiya toys Godzilla line out there. Just the figure and little better articulation is not worth going from $140 to $50
I miss neca when neca lost the license i stopped collecting godzilla figures because i can't get a good articulation without spending over 60$ neca was affordable with only spending 30$ pure figure that was reasonable but now its too expensive
I’m sticking with Hiya due to years of overpriced and bad QC monsterarts figures. He may look great now but I just don’t trust them anymore. Hiya has delivered every time for me so far
Like I said with everyone, remember how they did Minus One Goji.. The promo pics looked good but then in person, the figure ended up badly painted and sculpted. Let’s hope they don’t screw up.
Sh monsterarts may be smaller than hiya toys but that doesn’t bother me. Also when you say hiya figures are very limited that doesn’t mean they won’t restock their Godzilla figures right?
The monsterarts looks amazing, but not for the price. Hiya still has the best bang for the price. I can not justify 140 for a figure with no accessories or anything. I also think the photography and posing are subjective hiya needs to just up their photography to really show off their figures better in poses and everything. Shm knows their stuff. But they are both prototypes and there hace been many shm prototypes that never hit the looks on release. I also think hiya isnt in trouble again prices. Shm continually increases thwir prices and theyre gettng to the point with many of their releases that they are out of reach for more and more people.
I think that maybe someday shm shoukd as idk maybe just HINGES like joints or at least for leg wise or on arms to prevent less falling apart if this were to happen again with evolved
I'd say Hiya has the advantage here, yeah SHMA teased their Skar King, but remembering SHMA's past, they like to tease figures WAY ahead of time, so we won't be seeing any promos or info on Skar King for 6 months at least! (if you think this is an exaggeration, then please look at how long it took SHMA to reveal info on their godzilla 89, 2004, 91, and 72 from the time they teased them!) While Hiya has a higher output when it comes to announcements, in the time of 1 month they revealed the Ghidorah repaint, Shimo, both godzilla pre evolved and evolved! so yeah, for now, SHMA revealed their Goji evolved and has a tease for Skar King, but who's to say in the next 6 months hiya won't capitalize on their own Skar King, and perhaps reveal Mothra, Suko and maybe Tiamat!
Preordered the Hiya, waiting for YT reviews of Shma. Even if the price goes up for Shma I know I can still get one unlike Hiya where it's either preorder or you never get it at all
I think i still always love hiya because of their mv figure but as i said and you said aswell that hiya isn't perfect i even think that shm look kinda better than hiya evolved Godzilla but i still love hiya
about time they use a new sculpt for godzilla. We had the same one when 2019 came out. They just got the same sculpt, repainted it and their godzilla figure was ready. Now they’re throwing it back to hiya.
I know right took them long enough to let go of that horrible sculpture, now moving forward I truly hope they’ve learn a few things from their mistakes.
They both look pretty good. I think shma looks a bit better but it’s going to cost a lot more so i might just get hiya instead. I’m not a huge collector so i don’t want to get both since it’s the same Godzilla design. Also i wish at least one of them came with an atomic breath part since there aren’t any other Godzilla’s with pink breath. They might make another version tho.

Just to make it clear I don’t delete comments that’s RUclips, it’s funny to me how hard he tries.
I think hiya needs to update their version in some parts as mostly paint if they want to win the competition cuz shma looks better imma be real but thats only in the pictures but ill wait

I’m gonna say it’s definitely sh monster, both Tamashi nation and hya toy did a great job it’s just I would take Tamashi nation as the base of a Godzilla figure, for hya toys it’s the tale and and the detail of the dorsal plates and I combine it with Monster arts , and a little bit of the details of the scales on hya toys and combine it with monster arts and that to me would be a perfect Godzilla evolved figure.
I actually just got my new Godzilla head from kujira designs and now once I get that sh monsterarts evolved I will have two really good Godzilla figures
Im getting SHMA Goji Evolved.. Theres no way that SH did this, but either way theres one risk im taking is that the figure may break in the packaging 😅 but If you do order from SHMA you do get it a month earlier than Hiya so im getting SHMA Godzilla Evolved Figure.

@@xenalien355 the sculpt is the same, it just doesn't look the same because of the ambient light in the promo photos, that focus more in a yellow tone, but the paint and sculpting are the same in both promo and final product in hiya figures, and also, they have fixed the stomach and head in the leaked images
@@ArthurBr1000Oficial I mean for the pre evolve, it can't be light it's too différent and even if it is they need to stop taking photo of their product with lightning that change our perception of it
But we can agree shma is worse with promo photo
My only issue with things like HIYA and Neca are the plastics they use. They’re more reflective and look shiny and it just gives me a bad cheap feel
I prefer the shma one, it looks more accurate, and better articulation
Looks like SHMA is finally starting to get their shit together. They both look great.
I love both of these figures but I think I’ll choose hiya cause of the high price of the shma
I have to get the Hiya version because I love the materials and weight in it, SHMA is toi pricy for my taste now aaaand I don’t want to waste my cash.
Dang thanks for the video and advice
I’m new to collecting Monsterarts but I heard of issues with the brand
Hiya toys looks great for the price and Monsterarts looks great for evolve Godzilla
Here is the thing to me hiya always looks better in person than on their pictures for some reason. While monster arts is the complete opposite so we will se when someone has them.
How come sh MonsterArts can make a articulated tail for Godzilla but can't make one for Dragon Ball Z Frieza
Different sub-lines! Different people in charge!
The issue with monsterarts is that I have absolutely no idea if that’s the figure I’m gonna receive. There quality control is terrible
Finally shma is stepping up, but will see when they both actually release.
Yes, the final decision is the actual public release, as of now those pictures do look amazing and I like what I see here.
It's not even about that, only reason monsterarts took time was Yuji Sakai had to sculpt the design out.
Just the figure and little better articulation is not worth going from $140 to $50
Is Hiya’s Godzilla a prototype as well or no?
Nah hiya always delivers what they show
I miss neca when neca lost the license i stopped collecting godzilla figures because i can't get a good articulation without spending over 60$ neca was affordable with only spending 30$ pure figure that was reasonable but now its too expensive
both both both is good
El Dorado!
Both is good and one is cheaper
I’m sticking with Hiya due to years of overpriced and bad QC monsterarts figures. He may look great now but I just don’t trust them anymore.
Hiya has delivered every time for me so far
Ngl s.h monsterarts version looks much better and I will be getting that one. Sidenote Hiya king ghidorah is amazing
Heres the thing. Monsterart is just a prototype rn. It can go VERY bad like minus one.
It’s true sh monster arts stepped their game up cause of hiya that is why I’m thankful for hiya
Thank you for your input!!!
You’re welcome I hope it helps out.
Hopefully it’ll have more accessories, because if it does, than I’m sold
This battle will be legendary!!!!
I’m going with Hiya because I don’t feel like dropping 100+ dollars on a Godzilla figure.
Did anyone else notice that the necks are the same? Seems kinda odd.
The hardest choice requires the strongest wills
Monsterarts have a track record with having goofy eyes with their figures, I'll stick with Hiya
I was genuinely surprised they did a remotely good figure for once (i still love you heisei 91)
I just watched your vid on the kingadora fig review and looked through the comment section there is no criticism on your vid unless you deleted please explain why you mentioned it in this vid
There’s this person that keeps creating multiple accounts and he automatically gets blocked by RUclips, in short he always calls me a hater for pointing out facts and says that I’m always wrong in everything I say. Just to make it clear I don’t delete comments that’s RUclips, it’s funny to me how hard he tries.
At first when I saw the promotional images for the SHMA goji I thought it was a statue
If you want more movement then it’s shma
If you want something big then it’s hiya
I’m getting both because why not 😂
I think hiya needs to update their version in some parts as mostly paint if they want to win the competition cuz shma looks better imma be real but thats only in the pictures but ill wait
I'm going to be brutally honest if MonsterArts decides to finally put it at a good price point then MonsterArts will absolutely slam hiya
Shm looks accurate but its perfect i cant choose which one i want to buy
So I’m gonna personally preorder Sh for my birthday and hopefully get hiya later in the year 😊
SHMA price is outrageous for something that’ll break in 5 seconds even if you’re extremely careful 💀
I wonder which company is going to give us Warbats? If it is SHMA, then I betcha it will be expensive and it doesn’t have to be. I am so thankful to not be a huge, huge Goji fan. My Mothraness keeps that stuff at bay. LOL!
I'll have to see a review first
shma looks better, more accuracy and more joints so.....shma for the dub
After the toys come out, whoever I buy depends on the reviews.
