Hohem BM01 BT Smart Mic Review

A full review and test of this very small bluetooth wireless mic. Originally developed to work in conjunction with the Hohem gimbals and the Hohem Pro app it can also be used as a standalone mic for other programs and doesn't need the gimbal or the Hohem pro app.
All the features of the mic can be realised when using the Hohem pro app as well as the ability to control some features of the compatible gimbals.
Theres no noticeable audio latency in the system so no audio sync problems have to be dealt with.

Hi Graham, I am very new to Video and have been through a lot of video on Microphones after my first nasty wind affected sound experience with my new Panasonic handycam.
Looking online to find the best budget shotgun mic all appeared simple. I purchased one that looks great and works great with everything other than my Panasonic. It appears that I needed to have a powered mic for my HC-VX1. Very hard to find info on choosing mics. Thought it could be a video idea for you.

Hello! I do need a Bluetooth mic, but not a sophisticated one as you demonstrated. I have a Samsung S10 phone .
Can you recommend a very simple mic please? I'll be recording little clips of my mother. The mic will be clipped to her. Thank you very much!

it might be simpler to use one of the small plug in wireless 2.4GHz mics like the ZHUFON brand much easier and work over greater distances

@@GrahamHoughton12 Hello Mr Houghton, i watched your review of Zhufon 2.4 that was posted Sept 20, 2021. The Amazon USA link for the USB-C is no longer available. I hope you can recommend another very inexpensive, very simple mic for my Android. Maximum distance will be 10 feet (3.04 meters).
It is for family videos to send to each other, not to be posted online. Thank you for any suggestions you have for me.
