Saw it yesterday at the Menier Chocolate Factory - phenomenal. I've seen a few different productions (even different languages) and this one is top of the list: stage setting, musicians, cast, dancers (wow!). On such a small stage you achieved an absolutely wonderful and gripping and heart-warming show. The group of people leaving the shtetl Anatevka at the end, a never ending exodus in the snowy dark wintery scene - what a fantastic staging.

I've seen the film version of Fiddler on the Roof with Chain Topol in the role of the milkman he did a farewell tour with the show.
