Hi, very informative video. I would like to check, if you could guide me on the full VOC list as per CSAP society soil-vapour guidance including BTEX/VPH. Appreciate your guidance.
Hello, very good video informative. This is active soil vapor sampling right? Do you have a video on preforming passive soil vapor sampling Also, is there a list of equipment need to collect this sample?
Thanks Jordon, yes this is active vapour sampling. If we ever get a chance to complete some passive vapour sampling, I will try to make a video of it. Here is a list of the main equipment/supplies: - SKC air pump - MiniRAE 3000 VOC meter - Mesa Defender Drycal - Helium Detector (MGD-2002) - Helium + regulator - Teflon tubing - Flexible Teflon tubing - Y-splitters - Shroud (empty bucket with holes drilled into it) - TD tubes (for sampling and testing flow) - Hydrated bentonite and/or polyethylene sheeting (for sealing) - Sand - Wrenches - Tape - Tubing cutters - Stopwatch I believe that's everything but there are some tools/equipment I always have on me that come in handy for troubleshooting that I may have forgotten in this list. The list also does not include anything related to the vapour probe installation.
Pros and cons of this job? Im about to apply to something similiar. Thanks! Looks pretty interesting.
