I'm a Christian, but I typically don't like "Christian music". The Grey Havens are absolutely an exception. They are so unique and not generic sounding whatsoever. Also, I get chills every time he says "words of fire".

Good music knows no bounds! I personally don't care for a lot of Christian music (even though I'm a Christian myself) because it sounds poorly done, and I don't care for a lot of secular music because the message sometimes conflicts with my beliefs. However, there are exceptions in both cases, and I love it!
Its is amazing, and let me just say, Jesus died for you and all of our sins, and He rose again. Jesus defeated sin and death by His blood on the cross. Yes I agree with my siblings in Christ my friend. Your soul is resonating with the words of God. You seek that living water, you just don’t know it yet. He’s real and he died for your sins so you could be truly alive in Him, and not dead in sin. He loves you, please seek him while there’s still time. We are not religious we just have a relationship with God who made us all and wants for none to perish. Repent and believe in Jesus Christ. Just ask Him to reveal himself to you. We are changed and made new because of Him and in sorry we have someone to turn to who will never fail. Please seek Him my friend. He’s waiting. We love you so much no matter what and more importantly so does God and he forgives so much.

I really like this band, and I'm not even a Christian. This band has an amazing sound, and their songs tell good stories, without being overtly evangelical.

I saw the Gray Havens and Josh garrels last summer at the house of blues Chicago. It was amazing. I truly believe God is using them to reach people for Him. I appreciate the creativity, authenticity, and realism the gray havens and josh garrels. I prefer the music they produce to the stuff played on air 1 or k love. It's much more relateable and real to me.

Don't understand most of the Poetry but really liked the Unique Style. The one part that did resonate was about drinking and making you well. I am currently feeling sick, but when that part of the song came up I felt well, as I envisioned first drinking at the River of Life and also being void of distractions as I rest in Christ's presence

Good music knows no bounds! I personally don't care for a lot of Christian music (even though I'm a Christian myself) because it sounds poorly done, and I don't care for a lot of secular music because the message sometimes conflicts with my beliefs. However, there are exceptions in both cases, and I love it!

Gray Havens is so steeped in Tolkien and Lewis. Scripture and the Puritans as well. Their depth of being able to bring imagery from these sources to the lyrics is amazing, and only gets deeper as you become familiar with these sources.

I saw the Gray Havens and Josh garrels last summer at the house of blues Chicago. It was amazing. I truly believe God is using them to reach people for Him. I appreciate the creativity, authenticity, and realism the gray havens and josh garrels. I prefer the music they produce to the stuff played on air 1 or k love. It's much more relateable and real to me.
