Many thanks for showing us this backroads journey. I love being able to travel away from the highways and enjoying the alternative routes, through small villages. Looking forward to your future trips
Hi Werner, thank you for this awesome video. The natural sound of your Honda engine purring away and the wind I love. Try not to play too much background music. I look forward to many more wonderfull trips. Happy 2025 to you!!
Surely one of the most beautiful coastal rides in the world! Awesome road trip, almost 12 hours on the seat, my butt would have been numb! Well done Werner, both on your personal accomplishments with the bike, but also you convey the beauty of your road trip so well. I liked the Vermaaklikheid church! 🙂 Ok, the Bredasdorp church was beautiful, 😁 but I appreciated the contrast of the two! All the best for 2025 for the whole BRC crew and here’s to many more shared adventures! Thanks!
@@MMusikanth Thanks, Michael! 😀. It was indeed a long day, but I loved it! The first of three videos for the trip back to Cape Town is out tomorrow, it was even further at 580km because I almost got lost between Vanwyksdorp and Montagu 🤣
Some lovely countryside you have travelled through and some fun things you have been doing. I didn't know about Vermaaklikheid so close to Witsand but I have been over the pont( and never wish to repeat that experience - I nearly got stuck in the mud on the Witsand side, just after the last flood. I was glad to see it was good and dry for you and the Pont's ramp looks a bit longer than they were, when I did the trip too..)Some lovely interesting buildings both the churches and the little old houses for the days when we didn't have so many possessions. They whet my appetite for "whats inside"? But I know you were a man with a mission - got get to your Mother in laws place ,its a good thing the light last well in the Cape.
@@nonibbs Thanks, Penny, for your wonderful comments and of course for sharing your own experiences! 🤣 Vermaaklikheid is intriguing, you should definitely visit. All the best!
Beautiful looking ride.Thks.

Beautiful trip long trip but very nice. What happened to the bread 😂thanks Werner
@@leonpotgieter4701 Thanks, Leon! Half of the bread got squashed, so it was more like flatbread, but it was still great to eat 🤣
