You and me are making it more popular in the US. Because you’re so right in what you say. The before and after comparisons are always so profound, aren’t they? And personally, I love the absolutely wonderful freedom of waking up in the morning and knowing that I don’t have to spent ‘all that time fixing my hair’ just to look presentable. After sixty-some years of ‘fixing my hair’ and all that wasted time, a short pixie is such pure and lovely freedom.
Rene... the side-by-side befores-and-afters are so profound. And btw, I learned how to do a short-pixie for myself three years ago, thanks to your tutelage and encouragement. I will NEVER go back to longer hair and all the wasted time ‘fixing’ it every day. And the vast amount of time and money I save, still stuns me. Thank you for your guidance. You’ve changed my life.

I too have a really short pixie and I would love to do a buzz cut but as I am dare I say older woman a very young 63, I have thinning/sparse in places, hair due to genetics. A buzz cut would just highlight that. But I do love having short short hair.
Now I need to add something. I just got a buzz cut a quarter inch all the way around except for the very top which is a little longer and I can style it a bit. And I love it and I'm going to keep it.
@@LetaPorter I've seen women who are in their 60s with a bald head as well or very close buzz, so don't be afraid to shave it very closely because it will grow back quickly! I'm 49 and I've had my head shaved various lengths of the buzz cut for almost 3 years now 😊 I keep wanting to grow it out just to see what it would look like again but then I changed my mind and just shave! 😂
I honestly would do, And it isn't because I now have you know lines and some wrinkles. It's the fact that I have scarring on my face from my early twenties that I try not to call attention to.
