And funny that in Transformer 1 Jazz was the first Autobot to die. and spoiler for Bumblebee movie. In Bumblebee movie, Cliffjumper was also the first Autobot to die on screen. And both of them die by splitting in two.

Transformers Prime is the closet thing you're gonna get. It's in the same continuity with War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron. It's called the Aligned Continuity.

Both WFC and FOC are the most amazing and heartbreaking TF games of all time. Basically they told us the reason for cybertronian civil war and exodus to earth. Two factions that once brothers, now they are enemies. And that metroplex scene? I tried to hold my sadness.
For this past few weeks I was thinking what if S2 Samurai Jack ended up in Cybetron at the start of the civil war depicted in WFC Jack jumps good, beats Aku and goes back in time during Season 2 but is told by the gods he can't return until 70 years or until he dies. They send him to WFC Jack attacks Kaon and liberates the Autobot prisoners, killing all of Soundwave's minions as well as a portion of Kaon's Decepticons including many of their bigger Cybertronians such as the Destroyers Jack kills Soundwave at Trypticon Station and prevents Thundercracker's defection. Jack kills Skywarp and Slipstream but Starscream manages to acquire the source of Dark Energon and survive long enough for Shockwave and reinforcements to arrive Jack kills Brawl but is onve again repulsed by Megatron who still kills Zeta Prime, but the Decepticons suffer much heavier casualties Omega Supreme arrives forcing Megatron to deploy Trypticon station much earliet. Starscream is killed by Jack while Omega Supreme is brought to the ground Jack kills Shockwave while Megatron defeats OS with the help of Trypticon who is defeated by the Autobots Underground, Megatron is forced to fight both Jack and Optimus and is killed ending the war

Also Megatron's offensive assaults plus the Kaon prison break also did a number on the Cons By FOC the vast majority of Autobots have left Cybertron so the Decepticons outnumber them though once again being on the offensive plus with the arrival of Metroplex the Decepticons suffered much more casualties Starscream's poor leadership and backstabbing caused more Cons to die. By the end of FOC there are much more Autobots than Decepticobs, outside of Earth and Cybertron Megatron waste more Decepticon lives invading Earth allowing the Autobots and Humans to win the war for good Granted the casualties on the Autobot side are still very horrific it's just the Decepticons suffered much more Imagine if Season 2 Samurai Jack ended up on Cybertron at the start of the civil war. Just finished this game recently. It was a blast, quite literally and figuratively. Also, the Pathblaster is my default weapon. That thing packs quite the punch.
I always default Riot Cannon when i play these games. Its just cheap explosive fun with abundant ammo. Also got to love how they did Starscream, hes a coward but when he does fight he can be kinda badass

This is my favorite incarnation of the Transformers. I love WFC and FOC so much, I wish there were more games being made that were centered around that universe
I’ve only played WFC when I was little, but having grown up, I just appreciate the fun the developers had with the dialogue. It’s serious when it needs to be, but it also makes us laugh every now and then.

Everything about Fall of Cybertron is perfect. The character designs, the maps, the realism, the G1-esque character colour schemes, the voice acting, the weapons, the transformations, the story, the gameplay and it's mechanics, the camera angles, the animations, the physics, the sound effects, the music... It's all PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT. I will forever cherish this game, and it's prequel, War for Cybertron.

I like the evolution of this franchise. G1 was young, goofy, hopeful, yet intriguing and had some interesting ideas. The bayverse was it getting drunk on its’ own success, going huge and bold, dark and loud - but forgetting the subtlety that had made it stand out. WfC and FoC are it coming to terms with itself, marrying the two: gritty, dark, loud and bold; but funny, clever, subtle and earnestly intriguing. It’s been a rollercoaster of a franchise.
The mission when Soundwave infiltrates Autobots ship near the end was my favorite moment when i played the cracked version of this game. Even now, it's still one of my most favorite one in FoC.
3:35 Teletraan: *unauthorized access* Megatron: "Your precious Ark will never reach that portal Optimus." Teletraan: *shield failure on starboard thruster* Megatron: " I will tear your ship apart piece by piece!" Favorite line from the whole game.
Thanks for putting this all together matey. Loved the little nods to TF the Movie as well such as Megatron's reaction to Starscream's coronation plus Slug's (Slag's) "Excuse me" line. Brilliant retelling of the G1 origin. :)
Small note, but knowing how massive Bruticus is, makes Grimlock seem that much more impressive for being strong and large enough alone to combat him. It helps that in the start when the cons get past the defenses it's made clear the only reason they did so easily was because Grimlock and the rest of his team wasn't there.
Fall of Cybertron was available for awhile on both xbox 1 & ps4 but was taken off the digital stores along with transformers devastation. War never got the remaster or backwards compatibility treatment sadly.
@@wulf1046 yes. Licensing issues last I read. I think Activision lost the license from Hasbro. Still, the games warrant attention and maybe Microsoft should step in to help bring a third PROPER entry into the series since they cared enough to showcase Fall of Cybertron in their E3 show.
To be honest that was nothing more than a quick cash grab by Activision. They basically fired High Moon Studios and used their game engine to make that crappy game.
Light God when I saw the "R.O.T D.S." game and it started out as an extension of these games I was ecstatic but as soon as they reached earth and EVERYTHING changed I was livid. It had that feel that all the other TF:whatever movie games had...same mission different side yadda yadda yadda NOT TO MENTION I wasn't a fan of how excited I was to see all the G1 go to Micheal Bay robots...bloody hell
Fun fact about that: in-game, you need to keep pressing the button to smash him several times. I didn’t realise that at first, and waited after the first smash for the next cutscene, before realising that I had to keep pressing. So, in-universe, it must have looked like Metroplex smashed Megatron in a huge dramatic scene… and then studied the remains like a squashed beetle for a few seconds, before squishing him again just for fun.
Bruh imagine if they made this game but it's more up to date and had open world free roaming man I would love to see that I prefer Cybertron games over the other transformer video games I just like how Cybertron is
If you don't already id recommend war for cybertron its just as good a game maybe better and plays just the same also it takes place before this game and before optimus is a prime (although instead of having the name Orion pax he was still named optimus) : )
I thought that when optimus was fighting lockdown in the final battle as you could see lockdown got primes's sword and stabbed him with it could cause the spark to lose some of its energy so when he went into space his spark could have shut down because of that. My opinion.

I liked how it showed both sides of the fight between optimus and megatron at the end, it made it look even more epic than what it was already

The bayverse was it getting drunk on its’ own success, going huge and bold, dark and loud - but forgetting the subtlety that had made it stand out. WfC and FoC are it coming to terms with itself, marrying the two: gritty, dark, loud and bold; but funny, clever, subtle and earnestly intriguing. It’s been a rollercoaster of a franchise.
The Final Fight was the best. It's good editing. I wanted it to be like this in the real fight.

The mission when Soundwave infiltrates Autobots ship near the end was my favorite moment when i played the cracked version of this game. Even now, it's still one of my most favorite one in FoC.

Thanks for putting this all together matey. Loved the little nods to TF the Movie as well such as Megatron's reaction to Starscream's coronation plus Slug's (Slag's) "Excuse me" line. Brilliant retelling of the G1 origin. :)

I miss playing this game and War for Cybertron. They kept freezing on my 360 and Activision didn't care to help so I sold them.

Small note, but knowing how massive Bruticus is, makes Grimlock seem that much more impressive for being strong and large enough alone to combat him. It helps that in the start when the cons get past the defenses it's made clear the only reason they did so easily was because Grimlock and the rest of his team wasn't there.

Fall of Cybertron was available for awhile on both xbox 1 & ps4 but was taken off the digital stores along with transformers devastation. War never got the remaster or backwards compatibility treatment sadly.

@@wulf1046 yes. Licensing issues last I read. I think Activision lost the license from Hasbro. Still, the games warrant attention and maybe Microsoft should step in to help bring a third PROPER entry into the series since they cared enough to showcase Fall of Cybertron in their E3 show.

To be honest that was nothing more than a quick cash grab by Activision. They basically fired High Moon Studios and used their game engine to make that crappy game.

Light God when I saw the "R.O.T D.S." game and it started out as an extension of these games I was ecstatic but as soon as they reached earth and EVERYTHING changed I was livid. It had that feel that all the other TF:whatever movie games had...same mission different side yadda yadda yadda NOT TO MENTION I wasn't a fan of how excited I was to see all the G1 go to Micheal Bay robots...bloody hell

Fun fact about that: in-game, you need to keep pressing the button to smash him several times. I didn’t realise that at first, and waited after the first smash for the next cutscene, before realising that I had to keep pressing.
So, in-universe, it must have looked like Metroplex smashed Megatron in a huge dramatic scene… and then studied the remains like a squashed beetle for a few seconds, before squishing him again just for fun.
I opened it just to hear Bruticus saying 'this isn't even fair'. I love this quote 😂😂

If you don't already id recommend war for cybertron its just as good a game maybe better and plays just the same also it takes place before this game and before optimus is a prime (although instead of having the name Orion pax he was still named optimus) : )

I thought that when optimus was fighting lockdown in the final battle as you could see lockdown got primes's sword and stabbed him with it could cause the spark to lose some of its energy so when he went into space his spark could have shut down because of that. My opinion.
