Lenovo seems to be quite relatively reliable compared to some of the other brands. Their office machines are especially well made.

My Lenovo IdeaPad was built by Foxconn. So was my HP laptop and my Dell laptop. Everybody is using the same factories to do the assembly. If there is a difference, it will be in the components specified.

@@LatitudeSky the proof of the pudding really is the hardware's design and the components' quality. it also doesn't hurt that Lenovo uses simple methods making assembly easy for 3rd party companies.
Some people are all into these very complex, full reballing, massive testing, etc type repairs. That is cool and all and fun to watch and there are repair places, usually small private ones that specialize in those type of repairs. I enjoy those videos too. However Alex makes his money off of simple-moderately complex fairly quicker type repairs in bulk and makes very good money doing it. A good business model that works extremely well when you have literally hundreds of items backed up in your queue. Kind of like an auto place that does fully, months long restorations vs one that does mild-moderate complex car repairs as the bulk of their business. A lot of people don't seem to understand this.
I totally understand your comment, if you want to be an electronic tech in this modern age you need to tackle all the bulk and known faults first. The harder ones stay longer in the queue.

You make the removal of hot tweezers look so easy. I have to wait longer than u with my hit tweezers. Is it the type of tweezers ir the heat that you use on the station?
He's probably using higher temps. Unleaded solder requires much higher temps because it has a higher melting point.
Damaged fuse is the best case scenario anyway. Unplug your batteries!

I think Big Boss deserves a super dooper office chair with a sheepskin seat to sit on so he doesn't get pressure sores in his parabola area! Great fix!

Alex, "Hot tweezers" are they an individual unit like a soldering iron or are just tweezers heated by hot air gun.
You can buy them its basically two soldering tips in one hand piece. Google "Micro desoldering tweezers"
They're tweezers that are heated by a soldering station. You can see what they look like with a simple Google search.

I remember I once had a cheap laptop from a brand called Nextbook. I installed a Linux distro on it, and if you turned the screen brightness down to zero, the backlight would shut off, and you could barely see the image.

I just don't understand why a fuse blows when upgrading a SSD when the battery is connected. I've changed many SSD's in laptops with the battery connected and the fuse never blows. 🤔
It wasnt the ssd I was changing out the screen from it being cracked. Didnt disconnect the battery before doing it.. This is my laptop lol

We bought the outro music a long time and we are known for it since it came out. Someone recently copyrighted the music and we can't use it anymore. All monetization will go to the owner of the copyright if we kept it it, so we let it go.
Common problem with Lenovo laptop if you dont unplug the battery before removing edp cable but i didnt know nvme can affect it too. Maybe the customer doesnt tell the full story.
