Out of interest, what are the main issues with 2 player online in Rugby 22? Is it a bit glitchy and laggy? Is it hard to find an opponent? People rage quitting?
The list is pretty big Tom. A year and a half from release the player base is non existent, but ever since launch connection issues have plagued the game, things on online just break. Set plays dont work at all, lineouts are uncontestable most of the time, scrums are uncontestable full stop. Sometimes the game operates different for both people, like in this video the clip of Argentina vs Wales, on my screen im running but the opponents players just stopped. But on their end they were tackling my players the whole time. Depending on who is hosting, the game can literally be delayed for 1 person, which is game-breaking for things like Rucks, having a 1-2 second advantage of pressing buttons at rucks allows an impossibly unfair edge to 1 person.
Unfortunately there isnt a lot of redeeming factors. Frame rates drop, playing players in other countries is wildly delayed, and on top of it all you can go 7-0 up and most people rage quit even at the start of a game.

@@tomdavies6368 I really hope so, with rugby challenge off the market now, Rugby 24 will stand alone as a Rugby game, so the full player base will be on 1 game. If they introduce a fifa style ultimate team it would increase the amount of people that continue playing. I would love one day to have there be an actual level of E-sports for rugby games, but I feel we are a long way off.
