Hey all! Hope the video wasn't to negative. I will highly highly likely go see this day 1. But with some of the things not being in the movie it's hard to know what it'll be like. But we will see ✌️
As long as we get the remake right the film will be a bonus if it’s good at this rate. I have a suspicion it will just be using the name and idea but basically go in a direction where it strays to much from the source material. Like how can you not have a wendigo it’s like the big twist everyone goes oh it’s Josh then wait a minute what got Jess!
I never look forward to movie recreations of video games, but I will give this a watch. At least its different, fresh for hardcore players. Plus, if they were to completely recreate every single event from the game, they would need to decide what's cannon. Who actually died in Until Dawn, You can't have a teen slasher without a few deaths.
I honestly thought the years of "creative decisions" has slowly died out, but apparently not. I heard about all this a while ago and it could all be rumors and not true, but it's starting to sound like it maybe true, but who knows. I think it's all ridiculous for a game like this. It's literally already a movie that you can interactive with. So I don't see how you could screw this up it's already laid out perfect for them already. I'm mostly more focusing on the remake anyway (which actually looks good) so I guess it's whatever now.
Honestly, it's a strange thing when game company's or movies make something and for an entire audience who don't play the games. I don't judge anyone. But it's just bad choice to change things for folks who don't even watch it or even if they do. It's for the core of people who made it possible for the games to happen in first place ya know, hoping for the best
I think it’s pretty much impossible for them to not turn Hannah into what she becomes in the game. They could just be trying to hide the twist because when I first saw the trailer for the game, it just looked like a slasher horror game.
I suppose yeah, and there was only once glimpse of a wendigo and it was the old asylum building I believe it was in. So here's hoping it'll be good but for me anyway take it with a pinch of salt
@@CaseysRepositorymaybe instead of a Wendigo, it’s something like the creature from the descent. Definitely think it’s a mistake steering away from the source material, almost every game adaption that does that, ends up failing but I still have hope just because of my love for Until Dawn.
@durotan5245 maybe yes, such as borderlands I heard seems to be doing poor. And to be honest when it was shown i knew it wasn't gonna be good. Never played border lands before but Kevin Hart in it and whoever didn't seem like a good casting choice. He's a cool guy and in some good things. But I dont know. It's always worrying when these things are being made

Yeah and I heard there will be a mini series of UD in spring of next year too... and I saw a post of it on insta... not to hyped about it

Yeah it's a tough one to get your head around but we on the road already. Tv show would have been better too. And yes the remake I cant wait for too😎
This would really surprise me if they are going to change that much, would be a weird approach. Wonder who the target audience is supposed to be.

That's goooood! I am somewhat but ya know. Likely to be Aug 2025 so by then the trailer should tell us more
