@@矮人礦工麥爾 In theory they can be fit in the gas tube, but it is a tight fit, and it tears at the insulation surrounding the battery. I just ended up bypassing that system and wiring the battery connectors straight to the barrel shroud removing the gas tube in the process. That left me all the room in the world for the battery.l to fit in there. I hope this helps.
You have a good point there but the nozzle is a special one...according to evike the airsoft sig rifles use a ~22.26mm nozzle while the airsoft ak rifles use a ~19.63mm nozzle. The nozzle I have in the gun now is a Maxx 22.25mm nozzle.
This is awesome man. I am an airsoft beginner and I have the same gun. Recently I am doing a lot of customization to it. I have noticed the whole wire system seems weak in order to handle current over 20A. Did you do any upgrades to the wiring system? And what is the most essential upgrade you will recommend me to do?
I ended up replacing the stock wiring with the pre-wired Gate Titan advanced MOSFET. As for my suggested most essential upgrade, I suppose there are a few things you could do, but the best would be to get a better motor with neo magnets, a good LiPo battery with Deans connections, and at least a basic MOSFET. If you end up tuning your gun, make sure to take the necessary steps such as shimming, greasing, correcting compression, and AOE. Here is my build breakdown on this gun if that helps give you an idea on some upgrades you can do: ruclips.net/video/5UknHcUHTrU/видео.html. Good luck, and thanks for the comment.
@@mr.airsoft8295 thank you so much man! I am working on xt30 connector now. And because of the malfunction of brushless motor, I ordered a chihai m150 high torque motor, that seems awesome.
It's great; I heavily upgraded my 550's internals and it's a beast of a gun now. I am planning on making a video about the upgrades somewhere down the line.
Me too. I got mine from a collector and he had the adjustment screw so tight it cracked the motor plate. It was unfortunate I couldn't use one from my TM/JG parts bins
Thank you so much you helped me a lot.
Greetings from Switzerland
My pleasure, thanks for commenting
Is that ak battery? Can be fit in the tube(imitation reel 550's gas tube? I'm not sure

is it an AK nozzle? or dedicated? cuz if you think about it hPa is a great option for this replica

Can the front sight come off?
I don’t think so
Good info!
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.
How are you liking the GS 550? :) I paid $50 bucks for a replacement motor plate! 🤣
