I am not Russian but Katyusha's accent stands out alot. I can't really tell about Nonna however. Nonna's accent sounds authentic, but the way she pronounces some of the words give it away.

You're russian ? As I know NOTHING about this language and can nearly never hear it, I'm wondering something : is their pronounciation "good", "okay" or "horrible" from native speaker's ears ? I'm curious about it because I'm french and whenever Japanese try to speak french in animes... it's pretty horrible and wrong to the point, it's hard to understand XD

You know what is Katyusha? Russian language is very complex and has various ways to use the same name. Like the name Katerina or Ekaterina - it sounds formal in Russian. But if you change it to Katya it sounds more familiar and intimate (like John --> Johny in English). And Katyusha is the most tender and affectionate way of saying the same name, it sounds like "my sweet Katya". So Katyusha is how you call your loved one, your close friend or beloved child whose name is actually Ekaterina.
I have no method of fact checking this (google said it's a vehicle but I like yours better and am not sure if I search it correctly) so until I meet a russian in my life, I will hold this dear in my heart as the one and only truth

You know what is Katyusha? Russian language is very complex and has various ways to use the same name. Like the name Katerina or Ekaterina - it sounds formal in Russian. But if you change it to Katya it sounds more familiar and intimate (like John --> Johny in English). And Katyusha is the most tender and affectionate way of saying the same name, it sounds like "my sweet Katya". So Katyusha is how you call your loved one, your close friend or beloved child whose name is actually Ekaterina.
I have no method of fact checking this (google said it's a vehicle but I like yours better and am not sure if I search it correctly) so until I meet a russian in my life, I will hold this dear in my heart as the one and only truth
