Update: They have an IC position available, spoke to an onboarder to an application and they schedule drug testing(where ever your are in the road), send links to sign authorization forms, upload docs. The recruiter gave me an orientation date to complete paperwork and install eld. Wow, they move quick!
You need to get you a note pad and write down shipper and consignee and then write down the empty miles and you’re loaded miles, write down your pay that you got for the load then when you get fuel minus it from your load. Do that for each load then at the end of the week you pretty much you know what you net except for your fixed costs that JB Hunt will take out
The more I think about how Schneider’s fuel discount is they have to be getting more than that for their discount for a fuel as big as a company as they are so they’re probably giving you guys half of what they’re are getting
So far I’m see good stuff. Yeah they have the crappy loads too and loads that are designed to only cover fuel but they definitely have some eye catching loads so far

I normally do that. Definitely did it every week with Schneider. Keeping track of my fixed costs helps me know what I need to be grossing at minimum
