This season was literally that fumble away from being a ten win and at least Atlantic division championship season. Considering we beat va tech pretty soundly the first time, we probably would have won the ACC and went to the orange bowl. This team had potential. That fumble cost us the division and the Florida hammering in the rain really ensured that season lost its luster but that team and the 2010 team were pretty comparable in talent.
This is on the coaching staff 1000%. Free Shoes University had a nearly guaranteed win or tie to get to OT if they threaten every player that touches the ball to better not fumble.
Man I wish we could have got to see him not run into his health probs and see him play on and grow and learn more. With his unique size at his position (6’4”-6’5”)? He would most like had a decent chance in the nfl maybe

I was in the first game against FSU in ACC, back in 1992. It was a close game, but was a nightmare.
