I have two jcb 270t both a year old. Jcb will not stand behind their warranty of the machines. We’ve paid out of pocket to replace and rebuild everything it seems including water pumps, hydraulic cylinders, pivot pin assemblies (4 times), faulty bushings in the lift arm, track tensioners, faulty wiring, quick connect motor and latch, hand-loose bolts (literally falling apart while working), reroute the exposed hydraulic lines on the arm, and both machines are parked now because they do not cool properly, both ac’s are not working and we’re only getting 30 minutes a day before they overheat . We’ve properly maintenanced what hasn’t been replaced 100% of it all, through the dealer even, until recently and had enough of the $7,000 invoices. We’ve planned to get into a couple ASVs as soon as we’re able to recover from 30,000+ in repairs in 11 months. Our first job with the 270t, one of the lines to the undercarriage ruptured and we lost most of the hydraulic fluid. The machine had 24 hours on it. We were grading a gravel driveway…. But hey it has good visibility 😂 Stay away from jcb compact track loaders
I hear ya boss has a new 270t electrical issues off the get go machine dies fuses blow dealer charges to replace fuses fixes nothing give you machine back asoon as you hit a bump fuses pop again machine stranded and dealer says fuses not covered their maintenance items but don't look at the shitty wiring im now fixing as a warranty concern what a p.o.s. and a lousy dealer network jcb always have been throw away machines cheap in price why municipalities and power utility companies buy them cheap use for a bit get another my experience with jcb throw away equipment like kobelco 😂😂😂
My Dad has had skid steers for years on his farm. At 82 though it wasn’t safe for him to climb over the bucket into his 257 Cat. We found a nice used 190T JCB and he is still able to use it!
I’ve owned two JCB’s, the first one was garbage, nothing but problems. I love the side door so I bought another, still had problems. JCB doesn’t make reliable machines anymore sadly. The JCB’s are also the lowest HP, lowest breakout force, lift capacity and operating capacity out of all brands but you sacrifice that with a mono boom. I moved on to a 299D2 which I just sold and ordered a C362...which smokes any JCB CTL in every way.
Tbf it doesn't matter which brand you have. They all break. I've owned cat for 15 years now and the best ones were 15 years ago. The new ones are crap and your still paying premium for the crap so it's not worth it
This not designed and built in the USA. It's a British machine/brand...which there's nothing wrong with that, just correcting what was said. New holland has better visibility than this machine (and all other machines) to the front and rear. This machine has better visibility to the left of the machine which doesn't really help much. The Single arm is a gimmick to make it look different, and to allow extension of the boom, but it's unnecessary and dangerous as you can easily change the center of gravity and tip forward, causing damage to everything
they are made in the us and the single arm boom has been production for almost 20 years and you if you think new holland has better viz you should sit in one first (im not a jcb owner )
Well visibility isn't really an issue plus for jcb as anything that dont run or breaks frequently has great visibility as you can't move to do anything anymore 😂 these machines are rubbish
Not misleading lol, it says overview and this is an overview. There are two other videos on my channel of the machine in use. The dump truck vid and the winter storage one.

Man I am sold on the side door. I have a fake hip crawling off the bucket on my bobcat sucks. I hope you do an update on how its holding up.

How is it working, a review after a couple of months now would be great. Pros and cons
Operating the ac with the heating will not creating fog.
I learned that recently in my tractor cab, in the winter when you need heat, run a little ac with it. No fog, and still warm.
What gvwr trailer are you using to haul that machine?
that trailer was too small
@dirtdeals thats a 10k trailer. 5200lb axles. Its over weight by like 2k.
What’s the cost on that?
How much is a new unit?

Really? JCB no good?

the 299D2 is like 30-50K$ more than the JCB
JCB= junk construction brand 😂
Tell your brother how much you pay for it?? ( what state are you?)
I think it was $65,000. I got a good chunk off because I traded in my Case TV380
Nice machine.

You don't like it then, you obviously work for one of the competitors 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

11003.3 lb machine on a 12000lb trailer...
yeah I killed that trailer and sold it for pennies.
It's not designed and built in usa
100%, the steel and parts they claim are from usa though....still odd
Do a vid of you actually using it title is misleading

@@dirtdeals Put that thing in the dirt lets see it push something, you act like it's a forklift man.
@@likeaboss860 just got it end of this season. We have a few pole barns going up starting this spring and I'll upload more vids of it then
Quality nightmare…hated mine….back to CAT ….
Jcb and case are the worst machines on the market. Good luck with resale
