The Theoremne has a special place in my heart. it was one of the first clones I bought and man there is nothing like that scent. Nothing smells like that. I’ve been wondering about Tarathi. This definitely put me at ease!
The first time I smelled this DNA, I kinda shrugged, but it's really grown on me immensely. I think Turathi is the one I like the most of all the clones I've smelled, but gotta nod to Eyes from Athena which is also very good.
@@gerardgeorge it's a great Egyptian house. They do a lot of clones of discontinued fragrances. Found out about them because I wanted a clone of Plum Japonais from Tom Ford to get an idea of what it smelled like. Recommend their discovery set
Enjoyed your comparison review, 💯 agree Turathi blue is a banger, It smells great and gets lots of compliments. I found a 100ml tester w/cap for @ $24 last year, projection lasts a good 2-3hrs and I usually get a solid 7-8hrs of longevity, pretty strong for a blue frag. My only complaint is the design, the bottle falls/tips over too easy and the cap is tricky to put back on. I also own Armaf Odyssey Tyrant, another Tygar dupe but with a mix of Dior Sauvage, smells great but not yet as strong a Turathi blue.
I have and have only smelled Aariz by Arabiyat presitge, which is another inspired by Tygar frag. probably one of my longer lasting freshies which there are not many. (Nothing beats Atlas for the heat).
I think Alexandria black panther is the best clone of tygar. >95% accuracy to my nose. With that being said I still prefer Turathi blue. As the name implies it brings a blue aspect to the DNA that I like better and is more masculine leaning than Tygar.
I like both, but I feel Theoreme is closer to Tygar by just a bit. As metioned there is that Middle Eastern touch in Turathi that pushes it a little further away from original DNA. In my opinion, the Theoreme is blended a little better and doesn't have the rough edges that Turathi has. But as pointed out, some may prefer that. I get very similar performance from both and have owned both about 7 months. They are so similar it probably comes down to whether you like ME spice and a bit rougher blend wise or closer to original DNA and a bit smoother balanced blend. Cant go wrong with either. Theoreme is a few $ cheaper, especially with gift set.
I have Turathi Blue and it smells great after about a month of sitting. Tygar wasn't that much of a hype beast for me to feel the need to spend $400 to get. I'm good. Turathi is close enough to the Tygar's dna for me.
I have both, and similar experience. Theoreme is weaker, but more balanced and better blended. Turathi is spicier, harsher, stronger, and zings more. I had to give away my first bottle of Turathi because it was pure old school harsh bug spray. Second Turathi bottle (lighter juice too) was much better blended, but still took about 5 months to mature to its current pleasant state. Not my fav DNA, but its fun to wear for something outside of my normal comfort zone. And agreed, I'd take Turathi over Theoreme.
@@wanmangeng5957 It's sweeter, slightly less brash than Al Qiam. I haven't tried Tygar itself, but Al Qiam I just never wanted to wear, but Bronzite just does it for me, similar profile but more pleasant. Try it!
This is one DNA I haven't yet smelled and I know it's going to be another one of those I eventually smell and wonder why it took me so long (Afternoon Swim, Ombre Leather, Pure Malt).
I have both and theorem is more synthetic , which is saying something. Also brighter. But it’s so screechy . For $25 nit complaining, but I only wear TB
I think Theoreme is the better one. But both give me throat itches. The best one in my opinion is Portraits of Portofino - Birkholz, but it is also expensive (but cheaper than Tygar)

@@gerardgeorge Lattafa does this via Masison Alhambra ( which they own), so Lattafa makes their own twist or inspired by versions and Maison Alhambra make direct clones, that’s why you would see a lot of the Maison Alhambra bottles and boxes are near exact copies of the original fragrance
After getting Theoreme, I sold Turathi Blue. Similar performances but Theoreme seemed better smelling and less synthetic. At least for me. Anyway for the prices both are nice to own.
Neither of them really blew me away. Ended up selling both. Guess this scent just wasn’t for me. I prefer dupes of Perseus and Afternoon Swim (and Pacific Chill) to this.
A brand puts a lot of effort researchs and creativity to provides a noble scent but a cheap personaless prestigeless company from an a*abic country copies it and disgrace the whole effort and nobelty of the origin brand. If such thing happens in any other industries the copy cat would be punished by law of copyright. It seems this goddamn right doesn't work in cultural industries. Personally I'm fan of inexpensive fragrances but not by disgracing nobelty and originality. These brands so called middle eastern can't release something from their own mind? Even do they have anything from themselves? Maybe that's why they copy others.
There are plenty if clones from many countries including USA, France, China etc. Imitating originals and producing cheaper options applies to pretty much everything in today's global economy. It's not just fragrances and one region of the world. It allows people to enjoy something similar at a price point that is realistic to many that otherwise couldn't afford.
I don’t disagree completely but the Middle East are not the only clones. Also, don’t let designers and niche houses off the hook so easily. Part of the reason for the popularity of clones is that prices are rising and releases are getting lazy.
I only have Turathi Blue, and it blew me away when I first tried it. Good stuff!
Glad you are liking it!
Just picked up Turathi Blue and I'm loving it!! Never smelled Tygar nor Theorum but dont need to!!
Glad you are liking it!
Hey Gerard. I have a decant of the Tyger and the T.Blue. It's probably 85-90%. Never smelled the R.B. I like the Afnan. Thanks for the video.
You got it my pleasure!

I’ve got the Afnan coming next week. Can’t wait to put my nose on it.

Both of these are from Afnan btw. Rue Broca is one of their sub brands.

Yes, actually a somewhat joint venture between Afan and Lataffa

In India the difference in price of Theoreme and Turathi Blue is around ₹1000-1200 i.e around $13-15 so imo Theoreme is even better value scent.
Oh wow thanks for sharing this. Definitely a better value at that price.
