This void is moving with Earth. As Earth spins it also moves around the Sun which moves around the Galaxy. The void must have some control to "park" itself the way it did. That implies an intelligence. If it were truly immobile, the station wouldn't necessarily hit it.
I’m confused by the ending (I’m asking something for spoilers I hope this helps) did time bullshit happen and something happened where the stuff happened before they went to the void started to replay or was it like they where phantoms seeing events play am confused
