This one was about a month in the planning to create page designs where I could still use those full paper images and not lose too much of the overall image. I'll have a tutorial of the full album with all page designs finished on Friday in my Etsy shop:)

I love love Graphic 45...but, I will be honest in that I had made albums with this paper even...but, I really wasn't in love with the paper at all. You have given it new life, and I really like what you have done with it. Your album is simply gorgeous. Great job!!!

Thank you so much!! Really appreciate it and your feedback:) I used 2 of the same 8x8 pads and about half of the 12x12 pad. You could buy one each of the individual 12x12 sheets, but it would probably end up costing about the same as the full pad. You'll have enough paper left over to make a few smaller projects, cards, etc.:)

WOW! I just finished this album and it's just so gorgeous - Cathy, your directions are spot on and very easy to follow- everything worked perfectly when I put the album together. I made the pages first and was worried they wouldn't fit the chipboard cover but they did. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I'm excited to start another one of your projects. I love this mini! The paper is gorgeous! Awesome job! It's so pretty :)
That's awesome, Michelle! I used a brown Paper Studio crinkle specialty paper on the spine. I ran it through an embossing folder and inked it with Frayed Burlap Tim Holtz distress ink, so any lighter brown paper will work if you choose to emboss and ink it. The edge die I used throughout the album is the PaperTreyInk Edgers Dies #1 (there's 2 sizes sold together and I used both). I'll be using these again in future albums. They worked really nicely as accents on those flaps and not bad to sew!

Thank you, Michelle! You'll need about 30 sheets of cardstock. I used a gray/green color (Paper Studio brand from Hobby Lobby) and I always buy it when it's 50% off (this album was about $9 in cardstock). The inside pages measure 7 3/4" x 7 3/4". I have a binding tutorial in my Etsy shop that has a reinforced system to handle the weight of these pages. It has measurements for both 6" and 8" albums and 4 and 6 hinge systems. I used the "pockets and tags", chipboard tags 1&2, stickers and pennants

Girl, I am having issues on finishing my Xmas book. It was supposed to be a Xmas gift and I am still on it. I keep looking at yours to get ideas on what to do. It's so beautiful! Part of my prob is it is an odd size, 9 X 10, so I have gone thru a ton of paper and can't use my 8 X 8 pad like I wanted to. I am going to throw a party when I finish this thing. lol Thanks for your lovely work!

Thank you Linda! I usually use the BasicGrey magnets, but I've heard they're having some quality issues right now. Another place to find them is K&J Magnetics online store. I use the 1/32" thick 3/8" wide magnets in N42 strength:)

Thank you so much! I used about 1 and 1/2 of the 8x8 pads and about 1/2 of the 12x12. It could be made with one 8x8 and one 12x12 and maybe some papers from your stash for "filler" on the inside of the features if you didn't want to buy so much of the G45:)
well im buying all the supplies that you mentioned on the vedio now so when you tutorial comes out I am ready to make it thank you for another bueatiful album

Hi Michelle, I bought single 12x12 sheets, but you could use 8 1/2x11 for most of the pages, may need a couple of 12x12 just in case. I think there might be 1 or 2 pages that need a longer piece.I'll know for sure as I'm typing up all the measurements this week. I buy the suede strip in the jewelry section of the craft stores. It comes in 3 yds. You need about about 10-12" of it. The Hobby Lobby online store carries it in various colors:)
