Thank you for featuring The MADz. My husband, who is one of your subscribers, called me to watch it. I just came home to the Philippines to attend our MADz reunion rehearsals and recording! Yes, I am blessed to be an alumna. It just brought me to tears during our rehearsal/recording days. It seems so surreal! The experience of more than 70 people singing together and still sound so good gave me goose bumps. It felt like the good old days of singing together. It's as if we didn't stop singing together. Our voices envelopes each other's voices! It is the way we were trained to sing. We practiced endless hours especially before a tour, concert or competition. Thank you again for featuring our group.

The Madz. They all are Music “students”! Known worldwide, and grand prize winners of various competitions worldwide! The gentlemen at the end is the conductor! Thanks for featuring the Madz!
The concept was to have all members coming from the UP College of Music but that was not always the case. I for one was not from the College of Music let alone a music student of any school. For her encore, she sang Bang Bang. Asean Gala Dinner with Pres. Donald Trump - together with Jed Madela, Jona, Darren Espanto, Elha Nympha, etc. 4. Light of a Million Mornings - also with the MPO In addition, pls consider again Arnel Pineda👇 1. Collaboration with the band, TOTO 2. Collaboration with Taka of One OK Rock Thank you very much.
we apologise for the negative comments about Bini. the Filipino audience have very high standards with regards to music. auto tune, lip-sync, not singing live is considered disrespectful to the audience in our culture- which is why singing live wherever, even if not- so- in- tune is highly supported and respected by listeners. we are harsh critics ... and harsher critiques of ourselves.. please check out Filipino audience attending live concerts... 😅❤
Not a bini hater, as a pop girl group on the rise they are great and deserve support but it's a case of time and place...their songs/general sound dont offer much for a vocal agility analysis channel to dissect...there's any number of vocalists or bands to explore that deserve a spot in TGIFF that are more up R&J's alley, and bini is just kind of not it 😅
No, I think they only used backtracks to support their voices because they were dancing while singing, but in their latest concerts in Vancouver, Canada, they did not use any backtracks.@@nenitabombase4896
Would love to hear something from Zephanie (1st Idol Philippines winner) as well as Keiko Necesario (acoustic folk artist doing her own songs) Both are great! Both are on Wish Bus plus many recordings on other platforms. Zephanie was chosen to do the Tagalog version of This Wish from Disneys "Wish". Her collab with Troy Laureta is incredible. Keiko does so many of her own tunes. Special songwriter's voice! Her version of Joni Mitchell's Both Sides Now is haunting. Her original "Through It All" is excellent. Being a songwriter and musician myself, she is one of my favorites in the Philippines.
Oh..Kris Lawrence😍 For me he is a highly underrated singer. Also, he looks like he didn't age at all since I first watched him in that Ph singing competition over 2 decades ago!🥹
I still think you should feature Sunday noontime shows. Two of the largest local channels have competing noontime shows, both of which (surprise) are music centred and feature some great talents. It's ASAP and AOS (All out Sundays). There are multiple co-hosts (some of whom you have watched and reacted to already); it would just be a good peek at what Filipinos are exposed to on a weekly basis on TV. It's almost 2 hours of solos and collabs.
My comment disappeared so typing it again. Hi guys, Gigi Vibes performed at the recent Wish 1075 10th Anniversary concert. I heard the official vids will be released by Wish around Aug 24th. She sang Bring Me To Life, She's Gone & Ill Be There. Thanks!
Paraiso was originally performed by the group smokey mountain that was formed by Ryan Cayabyab. He is also the composer of the song. I suggest you guys check the original version.
Leave the door open cover by 4th Impact, they’re so talented, they’re one of the Ppop girl groups. Their harmonies are exceptional and will bring you back to the 60s.
RYSSI is about the insane TONE, RASP, EMOTING, VIBES. Her incredible ability to RIDE A BEAT, second to none. Her perfectly placed RUNS, always so tasteful. Her SONGWRITING. I've nominated songs that showcase all this. My faves are Kyla, Jona, Mori, Katrina, Gigi etc. But I think Ryssi is becoming my ultimate fave. Thank you for doing Ryssi. Maraming maraming salamat po. ❤
I think the first video of Philippine Madrigal Singers performing "Paraiso" is a different generation or set of singers from the last performance of Circle of Life.
Oh my, yes! That vid makes some foreigners freak out. But we sing at any and all occasions. This one was sung beautifully. Makes me cry when I watch. It is so utterly heartfelt. He may not have the words to deliver a eulogy but this is as powerful a eulogy as one can give
Bini is a great girl group. They have a whole lot of haters and bashers much like SB19 did when they first appeared on the scene. Unfortunately, the negative side of some Filipinos who are miserable with their pathetic lives!
Katrina and Budachel sang this song during the pandemic to share positivity and love during the Covid pandemic when everyone was locked up! Very inspiring and so well received by everyone!
Yes Kris version of this song was the Best but i think it was put down, maybe someone complained to the wish bus version, so we cant seem to search it anymore at youtube, kris version. What you can see/search of kris version from wish bus is from a different source with very low quality video, but from the wish bus it self is already not available.
MADZ best is their rendition of ERES TU in an Uruguay church, because its impromptu, and so few of them and yet it's super ethereal (will elevate ur soul), did sugest before with the link even, but not played...
Also, the second Madz performance is practically open-air... done in the outside lobby of the Cultural Center of the Philippines' (CCP) main theater. Audio is still fantastic.
I've been watching this in your live telecast but I wanted to watch it again , so here I am ❤ Thank you for reacting to Filipino music and talents Love from Davao City, Philippines 💖💖💖
Ryssi. Friday. "Matsala". ORIGINAL SELF-WRITTEN song. From Idol audition, teh 2nd song. She got platinum ticket, standing ovation, hugs from the judges. Made Regine laugh, cry and shout Disqualified! - beacuse Ryssi really is too good for Idol. This one is very short 01.45, perhaps it can be a bonus song? I expect Richard to cry from the raw emoting. Ryssi Avila - Alipin - Idol Philippines 2022 Auditions - time 05.10-07.10
I love how she's messing with the time signature. It's like a half-tempo 8/8 with a syncopated 3+5 feel. It sounds so interesting but she also makes it sound so natural and easy at the same time. Rhythmic genius.

He was so impressed with the interpretation of SB19 Stell of "Sometime, Somewhere" during his Concert (Gen C) last May 2024. He hand picked SB19 Stell to perform "Sometime, Somewhere".
Please react to "Comme d'Habitude" and "Eres Tu" of the Philippine Madrigal Singers and A Night of Wonder disney medley by Zephanie, Janella and Stell.
Regine Velasquez for one Wednesday please.. 🙏

Yes, there is 'THE VOICE' and 'PHILIPPINE IDOL' in the Philippines
On your next bonus video please - Filipino 'LISTEN' Mic sharing CHALLENGE! Thank you 😍
Phil. Madrigal Singers singing “Eres Tú” (in Uruguay) and “C’est finie la comedie” (in France). Outstanding!!
Thank you for another wonderful time watching you guys. Can't wait until next Friday ❤
I got goosebumps from Philippine Madrigal Singers singing Paraiso.
Hi from lodi Ca. Im walking home from my kids school and glad to hear and watch you!
Now, that’s the National Formal ATTIRE OF THE Filipino woven from pineapple fabric worn by the singers of the Madrigal singers. Del Monte and Dole Philippines have vast plantations in the Philippines.
Budakhel and Katrina are just on another super level! One more of them, ”Thank God I Found You”..stunning vocals and they’re so easy on the eyes😍😍😍. Love Filipino Fridays. If you have time, watch the end credits of “I’m Your Angel. “ They featured snippets of the musicians involved in their song. Pretty cool! You both are professionals!!!
"RYE-SEE", that's the way RYSSI herself pronounces her own name! OMG Ryssi next time, I'm so excited. Thank you po. I will recommend a lot of songs. 😍🥰❤💯
I love the MADz. First time to hear them sing. It was beautiful and etheral. Can't help my tears from flowing down my eyes. It touches your soul.
For next week’s TGIFF, kindly consider the ff performances by Lani Misalucha👇
1. Nessun Dorma - she sang it in Las Vegas
2. Queen Medley - with the Manila Phil-Harmonic Orchestra (MPO)
3. Asean Gala Dinner with Pres. Donald Trump - together with Jed Madela, Jona, Darren Espanto, Elha Nympha, etc.
4. Light of a Million Mornings - also with the MPO
In addition, pls consider again Arnel Pineda👇
1. Collaboration with the band, TOTO
2. Collaboration with Taka of One OK Rock
Thank you very much.
It's a must to watch
we apologise for the negative comments about Bini. the Filipino audience have very high standards with regards to music. auto tune, lip-sync, not singing live is considered disrespectful to the audience in our culture- which is why singing live wherever, even if not- so- in- tune is highly supported and respected by listeners. we are harsh critics ... and harsher critiques of ourselves.. please check out Filipino audience attending live concerts... 😅❤
I totally agree 😂
Do they(bini )lipsync?
Not a bini hater, as a pop girl group on the rise they are great and deserve support but it's a case of time and place...their songs/general sound dont offer much for a vocal agility analysis channel to dissect...there's any number of vocalists or bands to explore that deserve a spot in TGIFF that are more up R&J's alley, and bini is just kind of not it 😅
Very well said. Lipsynching is not highly admired in the Philippines.
Paraiso is so beautifully written... ❤ Ryan Cayabyab is truly a master!
I'm fr SoCal! Biggest fan here!!! I looove my Filipino Fridays!!! YES!!!
I am happy you discovered Madrigal Singers ...they are world grand prix champions in competitions in Europe and other places many times over
Thank you, that's beautiful! Also try listening to an old video when the Madrigal singers rendered 'Eres Tu' in a church in Uruguay.
Request: ASAP Champions
Yay! Finally, Kris Lawrence. Thank you!
Oh..Kris Lawrence😍
For me he is a highly underrated singer.
YES, YES, YES... It’s Filipino Fridays again. Love it.❤❤❤
My comment disappeared so typing it again. Hi guys, Gigi Vibes performed at the recent Wish 1075 10th Anniversary concert. I heard the official vids will be released by Wish around Aug 24th. She sang Bring Me To Life, She's Gone & Ill Be There. Thanks!
Oops it's probably not Wish 1075 who will be posting the videos but KDR House Music channel.
It will be released on Aug 25th 7pm. Gigi's performances are a must to watch: She's Gone, Bring Me To Life, Hero, & I'll Be There.
@HappyKat9 👋🏼
Sassa (from The Voice Kids you watched) is all grown up and did a duet with Michael Pangilinan.
Up
Kindly check the collaboration of Madrigal Singers and Morissette.... The song is " Pangarap ko ang Ibigin ka".. Thanks
World Record Philippines best singer's 👍
I love Madz. I am so happy I was able to watch them sing live when they came to California 7 or 8 years ago.
Supporting you from California ❤🇵🇭🇺🇸
Paraiso was originally performed by the group smokey mountain that was formed by Ryan Cayabyab. He is also the composer of the song. I suggest you guys check the original version.
Leave the door open cover by 4th Impact, they’re so talented, they’re one of the Ppop girl groups. Their harmonies are exceptional and will bring you back to the 60s.
Please don't. Nooooo
eumee capile wrecking ball pls.
I like Johnny when he comments. Very seldom he dose that because it is Richard who comments a lot.
Love the Madrigal Singers! World class 👏 👏 👏
love my little katrina
I think the first video of Philippine Madrigal Singers performing "Paraiso" is a different generation or set of singers from the last performance of Circle of Life.
The composer, Ryan Cayabyab, also wrote the music of quite a few Filipino musicals like Rama at Sita, Katy, Portrait of the artist as Filipino, etc.
BuDaKhel❤
They have a lot of impromptu sessions. Please react to more😊
My God...MADZ you made me cry. Wow now you can speak Tagalog already...
The Madz is superb good choice guys! I am trying not to tear up listening to in the train. It goes straight to our soul! ❤😊
Please react to a viral Filipino man a seaman singing How do you heal a broken heart at his wife's funeral
Oh my, yes! That vid makes some foreigners freak out. But we sing at any and all occasions. This one was sung beautifully. Makes me cry when I watch. It is so utterly heartfelt. He may not have the words to deliver a eulogy but this is as powerful a eulogy as one can give
Chris Lawrence one of the best Rnb singers in the Philippines
Kris Lawrence song's are one of the favorite song to sing in Videoke.😊
Kris Lawrence’ cover of Taehu nga’ Ears, Eyes, Nose is absolute Fire!
Taeyung
I've been watching this in your live telecast but I wanted to watch it again , so here I am ❤
Thank you for reacting to Filipino music and talents
Love from Davao City, Philippines 💖💖💖
Queendom singers on gma's all out sundays
Kris Lawrence cover of Versace on the floor is good also
Ryssi. Friday.
Johnny and Richard reacted to 3 of the judges before: Regine Velasquez, Moira Dela Torre, Gary Valenciano.
