What are your thoughts on OKC trading back? Like swapping 12 for Knicks 24/25. DaRon Holmes is actually the guy I like for OKC, just not sure he will be there at 24, and OKC will have at least 3 roster spots even if they accept Waters. I also like the fit of Kolek (if you trade Giddey) or McCuller as well if the Thunder take two guys.

Edey to OKC makes so much sense to me. Would love to see him play alongside Chet. I know it’s not popular but I love it!
In some ways I think it is unlikely, and worry about the fit. But you know what if the alternative is Filipowski, maybe Edey makes sense. Flip has a lot of the same negatives as Edey, and face it , if nothing else Edey would be FUN

Awesome colab! I love Dillingham at 4 for the Spurs, I think he has amazing upside as a scorer and playmaker, but based off of what ive seen of him in college he has a decently high floor as well, as maybe a 6th man scoring punch
so happy you took castle for the spurs, i've heard that he doesn't actually want to play point guard he's just using that narrative to try and get drafted to san antonio specifically because it would be such a good fit for him

Spurs picks are very odd to me. I wouldn’t take Rob above Reed or Stephon. Plus, the backcourt of Rob and Stephon would be fine except for what about Devin?
When it comes to Dillingham, the question would be, who will play defense for him?

@@timmyfiller1913 true because everything I’ve seen, teams are a little wary of his size. Spurs are one of the few teams that could really afford playing him (especially the first few years) simply because Victor is going into his sophomore year as the best defender in the world.
Actually, I am not sure if the Sours would want him considering the fact that he is a defensive deficit.

I don't get the "Houston wants to win, so they're trading #3". Like, it's super possible that a rookie helps you compete right away (Keegan last year, Lively this year). I mean yeah it's possible that they trade that, but I don't think is as likely as people are making it seem. Especially if the market is cold. Good video tho!

I think Daron Holmes is who okc should really take a guy who can play the 4 and 5 who can dribble,pass,and shoot while being a able to rim protect and he an older player can definitely can play right away and be impactful.

My take for Washington is I beg they trade that n2 pick to the blazers for 7+14. Wizards don’t need Risacher (Blazers could use him) and Wizards could easily get a much needed pg (Dillingham or Castle could be here) and another draft steal at 14 (Tyler Smith, Da Silva, McCain, Devin Carter). plus this draft is pretty weak compared to next year, so why not try and find something in the top of next year?
The Spurs don’t want a small PG. there’s literally ZERO chance they draft Dillingham (Shepard could be in play at 8 - but unlikely too). There’s a big rumour that Castle declined workouts because he has the Spurs’ promise. You should get more informed or you should make it clear that you’re mocking as yourself and not the actual GMs.
Research helps before mock drafts are made.
Lol, you obviously don't watch the Bulls. They do not have shooters at all, and they have defense. They have 2 pt shooters but have a giant lack of 3pt shooters. They also have no size. They have nothing but guards.

I wouldn't be mad at all if the Blazers snatched up Zach Edey at 14 honestly, as long as we aren't just loading up on big men or guards. But that would require Joe Cronin to trade the 7th pick, which I am also into the idea of, especially tying it with say Rob Williams in a trade.
Funny enough, when you guys mentioned Houston possibly trading that 3rd pick, I had a epiphany - Ant Simons is exactly the kind of younger player I could see Houston liking be able to get in a trade. And he needs to go from here in Portland anyway, so it makes a lot of sense to be able to trade Ant for that 3rd pick (obviously we'd need to take on a player or two from HOU, possibly cash considerations, too). Then, I could also see us opting to trade that 3rd pick immediately instead of the 7th with Rob, to attempt to snag better picks in better drafts (say the next couple to three years). I think that would make a lot of sense.
Me and cone think the same I’ve said Kyle since day one. But the more I look into DH the more I like him to land with us even if it’s called a reach.
Dillingham at 4 is so, so gross. I don't think he's evej a top 10 talent and as a so-so facilitator, he's not really a good fit in San Antonio.
I don't love him but to me is the only clear 16 ppg guy in 2 years in this draft...he is like a poor man's peak mike conley

What most people dont understand about the Wizards is that they are not in a hurry and will definitely go BPA. They will NOT draft for need.
I think this draft is actually better for playoff/play in teams. There’s a lot of high upside role players that mkst playoff teams are missing
I don't know why these Mock Drafts have the Spurs taking two guards that doesn't make sense for San Antonio. I'm been a Spurs fan since the 80's that is not what the Spurs need. They need a point guard and a wing not two pg's.

Agreed, the floor on Topic is too low to take in the top 5. There is a good chance he never learns how to shoot and can't get by guys at the nba level, making his amazing vision useless.

This is why Dillingham is not a good fit for the Spurs.

Understanding the way certain teams do things will give you better incite as to who they might draft.
Stephon Castle better fits the Spurs way of doing things. He is a more rounded player than is Dillingham!
As a Chicago Bulls they do not have shooters at all its one of there biggest problems they only take around 11 per game. Thats bad thats 20th in the league.

As a Pistons fan, I’d be fine with Matas, Reed, or Donovan. The spacing isn’t great with Donovan but he’s the defense we need so badly
ATL's biggest weakness is perimeter defense and Stephon Castle is right there lol Sarr is all upside and defensively doesn't move the needle for them right now. It would not surprise me if Castle goes 1.
Memphis not addressing the big problem would be insane and adding knecht when you already have smart Vince Gg just doesn’t make sense.
Sure but they may not have much option. If Clingan doesn't fall, or they are not able to move up to get him they can't address the big problem in this draft. I guess maybe if you love Ware, but Memphis has enough problems to worry about, adding a big with no motor is not going to be a good fit there

I like your draft pick for the Bucks. You have to understand my team. We ain't winning the championship unless we really upgrade the roster. We need help in all positions, especially C and PG, and all our players except for Giannis and Dame are replaceable. But yes Kevin McCullar Jr would be better than all our wings.

For the Wizards I genuinely think that they have to take Risacher over Topic this year because next year they'll still suck and the next draft have some big potential point guard who might be not the first pick so they can fall a little bit and still had a better/as good as Topic play like Traore or others.
The Suns IF they keep the pick (and that's a big if) will not pass up on Carrington or Kolek. With Ware and Missi off the board they're most likely taking one of those two PGs.

Your not getting some game changer pick cause its a deep draft like last year or whatever where this would get you one of the thompsons or similar player from earlier year drafts. The 3-8 picks are pretty similar in upside and skill so it ends up being a bad deal.

Word is Devin Carter has a guarantee from a lottery team. Call me crazy or a homer but I’d Love to see him go to spurs at 8 or okc. I think those that haven’t seen him play in person or consistently don’t fully understand how much of a game changer he is. He also averaged 8+ rbg, okc needs rebounding. I never thought I would see a better defensive guard play at pc than Kris Dunn but Carter on a different level. #friarnation

You can get good role guys next to stars but bad teams drafting high don't have stars and need those top picks to become stars..role guys don't develop early or change a franchise for a long time....its the weakest draft at the top ever imo..obviously we have hindsignt with 2000 2013 in recent years to give them the benefit..but even going in those drafts had more star talent...

Drafted a PG last year, used their MLE on a PG last year while also resigning Dlo. Even if they lose/trade Dlo, I’d rather they draft a big or wing instead if they don’t trade the pick.
I'd like to know exactly why so many analysts believe that LeBron James Junior Bronny believe he's going to be a really good solid NBA pro he hasn't done anything he wasn't great in high school okay he played for one of the top high schools in the nation so of course they were going to be highly ranked he's way undersized there's plenty of point guards that are way better athletically than he already have a lot more size than him and he did nothing in college whatsoever. Again he was the 8th leading scorer on his own team that had a losing record.
