Chris, becoming the Bob Ross of luthiers. Love it, keep it growing!
You beat me to it! “The joy of luthiery “
lmao. love that comment.. haha.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who immediately thought he was going for the bob ross look.
Came here for this comment!
My first thought also! Waiting for happy tree inlay!
Serious Bob Ross vibes going on. Thanks for continuing this build, I always look forward to the next installment!
Thanks for getting back to posting! We were one step away from putting your picture on milk cartons....
He’s getting close to his final form. Absolutely brilliant. Love you guys.
Try using a deep socket for your curve caul....it will withstand the pressure of clamping and you'll have multiple radiuses to choose from.
Brilliant.
Outstanding!!!! So awesome!
Amazing bro👍🏼👏🏼
Looking good. The guitar!
Excellent show and tell how to!
Like the look !
thank you . i had given up on this build . glad to see it back
Happy trees gentlemen! Great video again
Super nice !!!
I love the back of the headstock! 😍 Looks incredible.
Good stuff, dudes
Gooood evening from central Florida! Hope everyone has a great night!
Loving the Nigel Saunders/Mr Miyagi look....guitars coming along nicely as well!
Great video! Channeling your Bob Ross with the hair. Looking great man!
Thank you, Lord for giving Chris and Matt the strength to carry on with this project!
Chris… the Lion… Alvaretto!!!!
Welcome back to the 2000 y/o guitar build.
Awesome!
Glad to see you gents!
Ayo, long hair shaggy Chris about to hit different in his guitar builds 🤣 I'm so here for it.
Great video on some detail work. And what did I learn on this video? I learned that the squeegee that I have been using to clean my car windows with is actually a glue spreader (what was I thinking)! And those Irwin clamps (the blue and yellow ones) are a great size with lots of clamping pressure. Love 'em. But. The bar on mine all seem to be a softer metal and the teeth tend to wear away, thereby allowing the clamp head to not grip and slide. I've gone back over them with a file, but that only kinda sorta works.
Keep it up. You guys must be super busy these days.
Nice !
I almost never envy the rich, but in the case of your guitars… it would be a marvelous experience to play a guitar like this. There’s just so much love going into these wood boxes attached to metal cords. Love is in the details.
It should be called “the 3,000 yr old guitar build”. Seriously, it’s great to see you guys whenever you can make the time for vids. It’s not like you have nothing else to do. I hope all is going well in the off camera world for you two. Based on your multi year wait list I’m guessing things are going just fine.
Beautiful work, thoughtful planning, and excellent skills, and filming. The Abalone inlay and binding is gorgeous! Surprisingly, that company doesn't appear to make fret markers or dots. Personally, I prefer the look and engineering of a Snakehead shape and its straight string/nut slot tuning stability over the Paddle headstock design.
OMG What is that thing on his head!?! Thanks for the video.
You bastard .... I missed this so much.
Looking like it may not take the full 3,000 years to complete the guitar after all!
The awning company I work for just bought a Dewalt (RAS) for cutting aluminum extrusions.
I believe you guys have recommended a couple of books in previous videos, but can you do a video on your top 5 luthier books?
Great episode, guys! Just curious though..is this episode 32 or 33? Last episode was titled "Episode 32 (Radiusing and Gluing On The Fretboard)" Thanks for continuing the series!
Shoulda tried using the ancient wood for that neck strap woulda looked awesome
I look forward to 2025 when I can finally see a video and hear the guitar!
With that (lack of) haircut I figured you would paint it on 😮😊.
Hi there guys!
Awesome videos really informative and well done,This is maybe not the place but I would really like your input. I actually I’m about to buy a new guitar, What do you thing of the Martin 000-x2e for a gigging musician? I do have a limited budget, I not sure with this one or maybe a 000jr-10e because it is all solid o maybe put. little more for a Taylor 114ce what would you recommend?
Thanks a lot guys!! keep it going !!
Gots to shake youre hands one day kenny from Nashville Tenn
Thinking maybe handling that wood from the Woodstock stage might have had an effect on you... 😁✌️☮️
Well Matt… I am smoking! A cigar 😮
And we'll see you next time on the 3000yo haircut!!!!🤣🤣🤣
Looking fabulous!!! Unfortunately this build is making me antsy for my next build!!
Einstien has met his match
I'm a little jealous of the hair. It reminds me of what I looked like 25 yrs ago.
😎
The Hair! The Wild Hair!
Your folks must be really proud!😅
Chris, for when it's time to spray this thing, we're gonna need some corn rows
Thoughts on those ratcheting F-clamps vs twist f-clamps? Can you get similar pressure? They look like they'd lower the possibility of the clamp moving the piece. I've never seen anyone use those, but they have piqued my curiosity.
and we are back to the 3010 year old guitar
9:42 LMFAO!!!
Now I'm craving for Oreo.
You have two episodes numbered 32. The fingerboard radiusing episode is the other one.
Chris has a Tommy Chong vibe going on with the hair, glasses, and beard 😂😂
sorry brother.. i keep looking at your hair. beautiful haha.
this build started may 12 in 2021 so only 2998 to go for a 3000 year build
Where did Episode 32 go?
Almost 3003 years old now.
“So it does t pull a Gibson and break off”
Shots fired at Gibson 😂
The new hair is calling Bob Ross to mind. And all his happy trees and “happy mistakes” 😉
Oh sorry…. 3000 y/o !
I hope it’s finished before it’s 4,000 y/o!
Ha! …..I’m just kidding. Very glad for a new episode, God Bless!
A cautionary chase...
why is this unlisted?
Guitar building with Bob Ross
Is this a customer's guitar or just an extra?
I’m getting Jerry vibes
Suddenly you’re Jerry Garcia.
First again 🎉
Jerry Garcia reincarnated.
my goodness shouldn't it be a 3001 year old guitar at this point? lol
How has this been taking so long? Yikes.
