Also bare in mind that when you’re comparing to Tesco that some products you’ve compared are the very basic you can get, whereas I find the stuff in Costco is better quality ☺️
Hi Hollie, that's a really great point. I am still new to Costco so haven't been able to really check out the quality, apart from a few bits. I did see a lot I'd like to try though and the variety is huge which can be lacking in the cheaper supermarket products. I will definitely be going back and trying some other things.
Hi it's just my hubby and I we tried to shop at Sam's Club. I personally don't care for bulk buying with it just being the two of us. I shop at my local grocery store, this is just works for us, great video.
I like Costco for specific items only. I know the prices 😂 Meat is always in good buy, fish too. Eggs I get cheaper at Lidl. Shopping at Costco is worth for. Some items only.
That's what I found too. Loads of choice and. Great for variety but you do need to be careful and not just assume it's a better price. I'm still getting to know it though.
Calpol is under £2 a bottle twice a year at the baby events at Aldi. Long shelf life and easy to stock up on (you buy 2, partner buys 2 due to UK laws).
The thing with Costco is a lot is similar price but with Costco it's bigger packs and better quality. Kirkland toilet roll is the best so definitely worth the price. Meats are better quality and the bakery is amazing
This is really interesting, I’ve never been to Costco as I am afraid I would get carried away and overspend, but it does seem like there are some good deals to be had.
Costco isn't cheap but it is worth it. The toilet roll is like £14 for 40 but the quality is thee best 1 roll lasts a family of 4 a week. The veg and meat is better quality and tastes better than supermarkets. It's definitely worth trying out if you can afford it we generally use it for cleaning stuff soap powder dish soap that will last a year so even though the initial outlay is a lot it saves you alot in the long run
Hi, you doing great work, it's so helpful for a lot of people including me 🙂.I'm so grateful for your channel. I follow your videos and try to use your Frugal way. With envelopes system I'm noob (really noob), but I do believe for success with them. Can you have any tips how to be more Frugal with other products? like loundry, cleaning stuff etc? Do you know which products (unbranded/cheaper) is more worth than other? Any favourites shops for stuff like that? Thank you so much 🤗
Hi, I'm actually putting together a video around household products at the moment and that will be up soon. Thank you and I'm so glad you are finding the videos helpful, that's exactly why I do it. If you have any questions about the envelope system please do ask. It took me a while to get to grips with it all but I wouldn't be without it now.
I found free range eggs on sale at sainsburys at 1.25 per box of 12 sainsburys actually isn't the most expensive shop any more now the Tesco changed into express and prices went up a lot . I go to shop in afternoon when loads items gets reduced and often find good bargains at half price . never had problem getting eggs though 🤔
That's a great price for free range! I find Sainsbury's can be really well priced for somethings. Particularly spices with the bulk packs. They are a really good deal. Maybe it's just where I am but the last few weeks everywhere seems to be short on eggs. It did seem better the last time I was in Tesco though so hopefully getting back to normal.
Hello, I’m very frugal. My son works at Asda so we get 10% and sometimes 20% off our shopping. I was a member of Costco years ago. I eat a carnivore diet and always looking for high quality red meat for this. I use Stilton butchers online who have some great deals. I wonder how Costco compares today. Taking into account a 60 mile round trip journey. Regards.
Hello, just wanted to let you know that subscription to your blog took me to a page that showed me what I assumed to be your home address Ca****n C***e. Is this normal? Were you aware of this?
