    You need to constantly check mono and phase if you're mid side ( sum/difference ) processing or you can get into some serious phase cancellation and stereo weirdness going on. It is ( because it sounds so nice/weird/different/unique ) also stupidly easy to overcook.

    I’ve been waiting for this! Do you know of any real-world modules that are similar to this? I can’t find _any_ with cv over width control.

      Well, the Width is basically level control for the Side signal so you can route it to an amplifier and control it externally. I know of 2 modules for Mid Side, there's the one from Shakmat, and the Worng LRMDMDLR module. Basically, you can recreate this processing if you have 2 Sum and Difference modules. The first one for encoding, and the second for decoding.
