Thank you for this preview video on these SD70’s Engine Pack. Ironically, I was thinking about the Freight Pack 03 on how it was coming along. Like many, can’t wait for the AC44s coming in the future.
The isolated cab is actually what causes that squeaking. I experienced it on an SD70M-2 with the same cab type. If I’m not mistaken, the cab kinda “floats” on the frame. You can see the nose bouncing up and down really well from the conductors side.
Super excited for this pack it looks amazing! 32:17 the consist information is something I love and miss while I'm playing TSC. At least in TSW you can just pause and see your tonnage and length, one thing they got right. Good video as always Sean
The term for the "twisting time and space effect" is "phasing." That is a smart way to handle it! Nifty workaround for all units having the same sounding powerplant. These guys are smart and stuff lol.
I really hope that I can stand next to the Graham White E-Bell and actually listen to its harmonic electronic speakers blasting through my eardrums in all its glory!!!
I follow and enjoy your insights on everything mostly. I bought CP SD70ACU Pack and it's been nothing but a headache to get working. No verification for serial and Raildriver not working properly after following their instructions. Ready to give up very disappointed.
I've been running these 70ACu's since February on Trainz and will say there really good but not perfect in modeling as I have told the Guys over at Jointed Rail when they were releasing these for Trainz that there missing little details they just got angry with me, later apologizing and fixing the problems. So, this 70ACu Model of course is an older version of the now Newer release of the Union Pacific and or BNSF ACe that use the same in cab interiors as the ACu that just released for Trainz by JR which are Awesome with the little fixes that I have told them about still Great locomotives. if you were wondering about some of the fixes, I'll tell you one on this ACu as you'll notice really fast. when in the Cab looking out the front windshields are missing the "Defroster window stripe" which hangs between both pull down sun visors per window that's a small box with a line strip across the top of the window. My God the Trainz versions especially the Thunder Cab version are so freaking loud I see why crews didn't like them.
Sorry if this has been answered before, but which train simulator is this? Is it literally just called Train Simulator? Or is it Train Simulator Classic
Nah the cab rattle is awful and super distracting. Way too pronounced and artificially sounding, can we disable that? It ruins the product for me, totally. edit: thank you video recording guy
Thanks. I hope they add the option to disable it. In my opinion noises like these don't really blend in that well in a sim/ using speakers. I've got a 12" sub but the rattling noise is unbearable and I can't really crank it up. idk if it's just me, but the sound samples they use really stand out and feel unnatural. Glad the Run8 guys have a different approach to realism vs. entertainment. :)@@minnesotarailfan11
@@minnesotarailfan11 To me it doesn't sound realistic at all. Funny that only SS products have these silly over the top rattling/squeaking sounds. Wouldn't surpirse me if they bake it directly into/over the engine sound files like they did on the CP 4400. That's pretty much the opposite of realism in my opinion.
The toilet is such a missed opportunity. They should allow you to open the door, and when you look inside, there's a DTM logo in the toilet.
Lmao what a missed opportunity haha.
Or Travel By Train with their SD70ACU
@@GeorgesNadisan Lmao yesss
Bruh shut up 😂😂😂
LOL WOW GENIUSSSSS!!!!!!!

44:47 I’d call that the appropriate reaction 😂
When youve be thirstin so long for good NA content- uncontrollable things happen
@@schnauzahpowahz searchlight content does something to a person… 😂😂

Great video I’m super excited for this and the UP ac44

When will the NS SD40-2 pack come back
That notch 3 is what made me lose it lol
Knew it. They nailed the right numbering paint schemes for 7010-7015 and then 7016-19 for the numbering under and over stripe
Are you going to do a review on the TravelByTrain SD70ACU pack?
OMG This looks awesome I'm hyped for this to release
I really hope that I can stand next to the Graham White E-Bell and actually listen to its harmonic electronic speakers blasting through my eardrums in all its glory!!!
This -- and the long-awaited Rolling Stock 3 pack....
Been waiting...
Hot damn, those interior engine sounds are literally ASMR...
19:59 how to piss off your engineer lol
Can you monitor the Track motor and coolant temps like on the 44? Also What route is this?
How do I download this? I cannot figure it out but I bought it.
Dang man...when is their site gonna be back up??? :( I really really want it
The sound you hear in the cab are springs going up and down. This unit doesn’t have air ride suspension for the cab
nice video, dose it come with cp 7030 lord strathcona unit
Don’t know why but when I put the dpu in run and notch up, it doesn’t respond at all
Am I going crazy of the Automatic Brake handle made no sound when it was moved? That would be a little bummer
and I was right...also physics for the braking SUCK.
Hey Sean, you should check out the Saluda Grade Pro Range Route that HIS just released for TSC.
Was there a custom horn on it, because my horn sounds different.
Did you have trouble with the engines initializing? I am.

BTW -- thanks for the showcase.
I WANNA BETA TEST THIS OH DAMN FML
The train sounds so good! I will get this very soon! What scenarios does this work on?
The cab noise sounds like a dog barking lol
Wish those folks would make the Sd40-2H

Original Model made by Audie whose apart of Jointed Rail thus transfered by Woody of Searchlight to TS
Well, it was scanned by me and the model commissioned by CP themselves.
@@thetrainshop oh right I forgot you got the scans lol, that's embarrassing on my end. I mean he made them for TRS19
Sorry if this has been answered before, but which train simulator is this? Is it literally just called Train Simulator? Or is it Train Simulator Classic
Super!
Is this for train sim classic or the world variants?
Train sim classic
what map is this? also great video
where can we get that route?
I love 7012
i need to know where to place this serial.dat key in my folder
What map are you using?
Hi Line
Which route is this?
Could run these on the river sub to!!
I bet they are saying that

Well it’s prototypical so probably not.
You've never been in a locomotive at speed, huh?
its realistic because ACU's don't have air ride suspension on the cab so they use springs. that's the noise you hear

My only gripe is that you don't almost break your back when you hit a rough section of track 😂😂
