There is a veterinarian here on RUclips who helped me know what to get my cat when he experienced this. An upper respiratory tract infection. His channel is called VETERINARIAN SECRETS. I have gotten multiple meds all on Amazon for my cats. Always go to a vet if you're not sure, but so far, we haven't had to. Hope this helps pet owners!
My cat also coughing like this and sneezing brown mucus. I tried few remedies like L-lysine, vitamin, feeding boil sardine but have little to no effect. Then I bought cat flu medication online, it turn out to be doxycycline, type of antibiotic for human acne treatment. I gave half of the small tablet and both of my cat throw up their food but suprising both of them getting better on the next day. Now both of them stop sneezing and coughing. Since it's antibiotic, I keep feeding them 1/4 of the tablet per day for 1 week. They not vomiting after the 2nd day. In fact my cat stinky breath also cured. I think the antibiotic kill the secondary bacterial infection and their antibodies can keep up to fight off the flu. Hope this help

@j.michael Paw- natural antibiotic drops, sovereign silver pets- bio active silver hydrosol daily immune support drops- thats also what I give them with the antibiotics drops. My male cat likes to get into scraps with strays and has had some infections from scratches. Also have gotten a pain free wound spray, hemp oil for pain. My cat had a bad upper respiratory infection and I got Earth Animal- cough, wheeze and sneeze drops. Cleared him up within 4 days. There is a veterinarian on RUclips from Canada who does videos on meds you can use for certain types of ailments in cats and dogs. I can't think of his name right now, but I'll come back and put it in a comment

My cat is suffering this from 20 days and it is not at all eating or drinking , it is not even taking medicines 😢 in our city veterinary are useless what can i do
Yes please my cats going through this right now, i took him to the vets after he threw up a mole stuck in his esophagus bc of him doing that but he was happy with no symtoms while we were there and to get x ray for cat, i will do it if if need be but i looked up online weather my antibiotic pills was safe to use and in specific doses every twelve hours i can do that but i just wanted to know if theres anything else treatment wise that your cat need done?
Hi. I'm sorry to hear your cat is unwell too. Mine had a blood test and streight being prescribed antibiotics which I manage to administrate by coating them in butter but he did reciver really well afterwards. Just keep up with the treatment and please go back for a check up and everything will be just fine ❤❤

Thank you kindly for your reply, i have an appointment set up for tommorow morning but i cant get a ride and im pretty sure he has aspiration pneumonia and he is in early stages but i been doing non stop research and i realize its important to get him vet care for that condition in early stages and will need to stay in hospital for awhile to get oxygen and stuff and im just on a mass panic now bc it will be another whole week minimum before i can get him another appointment, hes like my child and would absolutely break my heart if he got to sick and had to be put down, it was nice to vent that out abit, thank you

@@vasandaniel400 mine had a respiratory infection. Antibiotics helped but there's an underlying virus so when her immune system gets hit, the virus picks up. Antibiotics helped keep the immune system good enough to handle the viral infection.
He did, thanks for asking. I upload this video just in case if other pets owners experience the same issue to know what to expect! An emergency visit to vet and in a week he was recover with treatment.
